The only thing that's a bit broken is the ability to display custom registrations on the fuselage, that's it. I personally haven't tried any of the PMDG stuff in 2024 yet but I've seen streamers fly the DC6, 737 and 777 in 2024. If I remember correctly the way to make them work is to spawn on the ruway with the engines on, teleport to a Gate using GSX and then select Cold&Dark in the FMC. I've ported PMDG over to 2024 and it actually shows up fine. The issue I have is the FMC will stop working, engine indicators stop working after start up, and the parking brakes stop working. Have not been able to get into the air yet

It is hard to accept that their Boeing are not yet compatible with MSFS 2024, while all the "big ones" have quickly succeeded in the transition. Mr Randazzo's convoluted explanations do not help to make the pill less bitter. PMDG's mistake is to rest on its laurels, IMO. It was THE reference for a long time and it was fully justified, given the quality of their products. But times change, technologies evolve and so do customer expectations. The interior gauges are blank (like the digital LCD stuff), and the exterior has white panels all over the dynamic reg. The interior and cockpit works in the TBM 850 but the exterior is the same. I've seen people with this bug but it works for others like yourself... so odd. When I initially copied the Dukes from 2020 to 2024 I also had some issues with the LCD displays, particularly the cabin temperature display. I then re-downloaded and reinstalled them (it was the same version so in theory this shouldn't have made a difference) and copied the freshly installed Dukes into 2024 and everything worked fine.

This isn't true--in fact, the situation is the exact opposite. They adhere strictly to the SDK so they can be on Xbox. The problem is that MS/Asobo rushed FS24 out the door with barely any time for devs to get a handle on it. And before you say "But Fenix!!" - it's precisely because they aren't on Xbox that they had an easier time. And yet, even Fenix isn't 100% compatible. They provide zero FS24 support at the moment.

Wait but.. what about JustFlight, Leonardo (The MDClient isn't required for the plane), FBW, A2A, COWS, ini and whatever other in-sim devs I'm forgetting about that work on FS24? A surprise to some, I know but, PMDG and Fenix aren't the only devs in this community. All the devs I mentioned function natively through a mixture of HTML and WASM guages. Also untrue. Deep systems aware developers like FSReborn had aircraft working in 2024 on day 1, fully compatible. Was it easy? No, Did it take a LOT of understanding and testing? Yes. Was it incredibly frustrating at time? Absolutely. But it was done... OFC some of the SDK isnt exactly well documented, Asobo can take the hit for that quite fairly, but also, they were there present in the developer forums answering questions and providing support. Especially so to active developers who provided detailed feedback and reproduceable examples to help them. Funnily enough I don't recall PMDG being there doing that AT ALL. Different devs are facing different hurdles with the platform. I see FBW posting severe issues about the SDK on the dev forum, so it’s not like you guys are having a great time either. 1 hour ago, kevinfirth said: Also untrue. In terms of complexity, the 777 is in a different league of product - that’s what I mean. I’m not questioning his dedication to customer support.

Correct, instead of annoying people with lenghty posts in his forum about why he fails again to port his planes from one sim to the next blaming everybody else except the own inability, he simply goeas ahead, tries it and succeeds. Absolutely not the same tier as PMDG...
