'Our' money?  My money was spent four months ago and has returned four months of pleasure. 2024 isn't 100 percent yet, but is already a superb product.

I'm glad you're happy with the state of the product, sadly that feeling is very far from universal.

I’m sure he knows the difference. I think you have mistaken what “he” thinks with what “you” think.

Hundreds of fixes, but, same old same old negativity.

I would love to know how I force anybody to do anything by posting here.  If only negative comments about 2024 are allowed on Avsim.I would go elsewhere.

Respecting other people's views would probably include my statement you replied to above '2024 is not 100 percent yet'.

Perhaps you could ask Avsim for a negative only forum?

You've missed my point entirely, I'll leave it there, just please respect everyone's opinion both positive and negative.

Well, in all honesty, I love FS 2024.

It's just not my only sim because I also love X-Plane, and now in particular Xp12, but FS 2024 made me forget about FS 2020 for good.

There are various reasons for that, starting with the fact that in my rather mid/low desktop it runs smoother than FS 2020 ever run, I have Career and Challenges to play, the detail of the scenery areas I know from RL when flying over them, etc...

I just wish it could give me as good a flight dynamics model and various weather and ground physics details as X-Plane 12 has... but no problem! I use both 🙂

Yes, get Add-On Linker. It's one of the first add-ons I recommend to anybody using MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024.

And MSFS 2024 is so much easier to install now, because it's about 30 GB.

I uninstalled 2020 at the release of 2024.  I have re-installed 2024 a couple of times and that takes approx 15-20 minutes.

I have mostly been a GA flyer, but I tried the Inibuilds A300 and was impressed, so I purchased their A350 and was impressed again.

I find myself impatient to try the iFly 737 max so installed 2020 again - what an absoluted trail that was! Took 24 hours 😁🤮🤮

Well, thanks, good improvements, but..., nothing for the F-18... that needs badly urgently a better Flight Model, resolve its excessive fuel consumption with post-combustion, and let mods arrive to let it achieve Mach 1.8 and not to be a unpleasant "turtle" fighter to avoid it in the Sim and more at high altitudes.

For me personally 2020 is not an option because it throttles my CPU, 2024 has allowed me to be able to fly A2A at acceptable quality.

I also understand that it is a very immature software and this has a long way to go, to me this is not a concern because it is not my main simulator and it cost me only 40 Euros but I understand the anger and frustration of anyone who has spent a lot of money on this paid Beta.

I didn’t join the beta because of the warnings of potentially having to reinstall everything once the update was released.

Has that actually happened to anyone ?

If it’s safe I might join for round 2

had the same nervousness Jon, but took the plunge with the beta to play nice with the A350... The SU1 just installed over the top this morning and no bother. Was also pleased to see a load of content I had bought previously from the marketplace now flagged as available too.
