Maybe that is because the title of this thread is even more ridiculous than the others. "A Total Eclipse of the Sim"? I mean, how hyperbolic and silly can it get?

Personally I'm just a little tired. checking up on Avsim and and this forum is literally just complaining at times. Sometimes you got people pushing the same points despite evidence pointing to the contrary so it's really just complaining just for the sake of.

Look I wholeheartedly get it and everyone gets it, Asobo included. Sometimes I just want to talk about flight simming but some people are so hung up on having a spat back and forth on FS24 that its near impossible to just have a chat flight simming.

This thread being 6 pages long just reinforces that. I think I may just head back to the screenshots forum.

Honestly when I saw the title I expected it to be about the recent solar eclipse and how it was actually modeled in the sim...

Flight simulation is just a pretext for uninstalling!

Wait until youare  starting to like a sim, give that feel at most 2 days... Uninstall it!!!

How dare you! What Greazer posted is the height of sensitivity. It's a cry for attention, captured in beautiful words. It shows great linguistic feeling and finesse. I was so touched! Not going to comment much here but if people don't agree with the OP. "Greazer" than do not respond to his thread. If I am not correct he is not in violation of the policy and can post his opinion whether its negative or positive. Deal with it and move on with your lives.

Too much sensitivity around here.

I have a lot of respect for Lucky, but this was funny. 
I think lightening the tone is what is needed more sometimes. 
To many fellow simmers seriously disrespectful to each other and at each others throats lately.
Ultimately it is just different opinions about a group of pixels moving around the screen.

I think you kind of missed the point of the bigger picture. This thread specifically isn't my main complaint, this thread is just one of many of quite frankly.. an exhausting topic.

Though if it makes any difference I didn't bother reading the 6 pages because I didn't care enough to.

Though according to @JBDB-MD80 I'm being.. sensitive? I clearly ruffled some feathers because I, checks notes, wanted to voice my thoughts on the constant spat back on forth that's been had for the past 6 months. I guess uhh, keep the discussion going I guess.

Funny you should say that - I was a railway signaller for 20 years.  I had 9x27/32inch inch screens and I moved pixels across them. The important bit was not let one group of pixels collide with another group of pixels 😄  Sorry off topic, but your comment made me laugh 😁
