Where is SU2 for MSFS 2024

If you're desperate for it join the beta. It only takes a couple of minutes.

    I like the idea that you can just throw anything out there on this forum and just sit back and watch it become a 20 page thread. Doesn’t have to be coherent, doesn’t have to have any sort of poin

    Maybe, and probably spend 99.9% less time than you looking for the next place to be negative.

    Yeah, but by page 3 it is just two grumpy old men arguing with each other over something unrelated!

Anyone inside got an idea?

The release date of SU2 is unknown.  I was unable to use the beta successfully until beta 14 - it wouldn't load at the 'fly now' point!  Beta 14 was much more stable for me.  Beta 16 has introduced stutters - especially on landing for me, so that needs sorting.

You don’t want it released right now. The latest update to the beta has been anything but good.

And as usual, IslandSimPilot has found a “fix” for some of the major issues that has been plaguing the latest SU2 Build…

Edit: seems to be only for those using FrameGen. Every update Asobo downgrades the version of DLSS…

Rgr that dont wanna get the snowball rolling downhill increasing size and running us all over.  Just curious to see if anyone had some d/l on the MSFS 2024 SU2.  I was in the beta.  Gone though way to many erase and start over agains to attempt beta anymore 😮

I think I will move over once they got the AI aircraft and ships.  Glad I got 2020 on the side to be honest.  But I do like msfs 2024 better than 2020 just a lonely world at the moment in MSFS 2024.  And multiplayer nah.

Pretty silent on the beta front, what does it mean? Personally, I am again annoyed by the non-communication from Asobo. They obviously resist to learn. What could be so darn difficult to put two or three sentences about the beta schedule progress in their blogs? No, you only get some screenshots and useless numbers on marketplace releases. As if it cares anyone if there are 20, 50, or even 100 new releases...

In terms of FPS (VRAM behaviour), some people found SU 1 is better optimized. Not in hurry, some of us will be disappointed to have the current build as the final release.

Something isn't right at HQ, the weekly blogs are completely devoid of information, the community mods have slowed their postings, no fixed date for the next Q&A and the actual communication on the official beta forums is deadly silent (no real change there!).

They really are extremely amateurish at basic communication techniques, amongst other things.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

This thread pretty much sums up the general feeling of frustrations amongst users;

that bland, flat X-Plane scenery is going to look a helluva lot more enticing when MSFS shuts down it's infra and closes up shop
