  • You're not, we are the silent majority who are happily flying instead of complaining in the forums, so it seems we are just a few.

Being part of the SU2 beta was not a negative experience for me.  From day one through two thirds of the beta I couldn't run SU2 successfully for more than a minute.  Often the sim would crash before

It's funny reading the thread since I've already been on the beta hehe. I submitted quite a few bugs and I know others have to. SU2 is a good step in the right direction for msfs 2024.  It's

Can't even see the A350 in the content manager....

Anyways MSFS2020 runs great with the new NVIDIA drivers so smooth.

2024 runs smoother

The Cape Town airport runway seemed to have foliage and such on the runway.   I was wondering if that is just normal that they don't have a pristine runway down there. The plane recognized the foliage and did bump a little on takeoff.  Thought that was odd and maybe a bug?

Having the same problem at FACT. Glad to see it is not just me.

All from SU1.

Was flying the A380 with great frames in SU1. In SU2 the frames are abysmal.

Lossles Frame Gen seems not to work on adaptive.

Drzwiecki Designs KEWR crashes whenever I approach the airport from any direction, from another airport.

More times than not, sim hangs on exit.

Other than killing my preferred way of flying, it’s pretty good!

I perceive DLSS ultra quality/DLAA to be crisper than TAA on my system.  I also run 4K and find a little shimmering in distant scenery with TAA that I don't see with DLSS.

Update - I am now using TAA.  Seems a combination of SU3 and the latest couple of graphics drivers have now pushed TAA ahead on my system.

Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Both SU2 and SU3 beta crash when trying to open LIDO charts. The bug is confirmed and will be fixed in "one of the future SU3 beta versions".

They took ages to finalize SU2 and such a blatant bug was not tackled.

I wasted one hour changing from SU2 to SU3 and back, emptying the community folder, checking integrity of FS2024 and Windows files, etc. After the 4th crash I searched the forums and learned that it's a confirmed bug even in the current version.

Should we read the forums before every flight??

Pure frustration 👎👎👎

I am still getting short final stutters. Right as I get about 100' or so off the ground. While my 3060ti is part of the problem, even with settings down on medium/low, it happens.

What is interesting is it only happens when I am about to land. my FPS is fine on take off.

I am also seeing people with 4090s having the same issue.

Your GPU is not part of the problem, the stutters on Final is an Asobo problem that they've failed to acknowledge let alone fix.

The bug is just in SU3 beta for me and was conformed as an SU3 beta bug, not SU2.

Same and I have a 4070. Was just flying MSFS 2024 and on final the game said my GPU was at its limit.

I get stutters on rotate with 2024 and a 3080.  Pretty immersion breaking.  No such problem on 2020.

my completely uneducated guess is this is related to the GPU VRAM limit error that pops up, because I'm sure when I had massive FPS slowdowns that this message followed and then the FPS recovered, but I'm not certain as I got fed up and went back to 2020

I concur.  Takes me back to the early days of P3d when they implemented DX12.  Earlier versions quite frequently saturated VRAM and performance tanked.  It was explained that the slowdown is caused by the insertion of VRAM data into system memory.  System did not like that at LoL!

It was no such problem in 2024 until SU2 beta, another regression.

I was getting it without that incredibly annoying pop up, whatever they think they've fixed with VRAM in SU2 they very clearly haven't and if anything have made it worse especially in this scenario which was/is very widely reported to them.
