Hi @YukonPete,

The current beta build (1.6.31.0) is in almost all respects identical to the final SU4 release build (1.6.32.0). The only difference in the upcoming release build is that regular Career Mode progression will be restored (instead of all certifications being automatically unlocked in the beta for testing purposes) and there will no longer be a separate Challenge League leaderboard for those in the beta.

Thanks,

Aren't there also going to be some server side improvements to default aircraft? The PS5 version seems to have it already.

Still have the stutter brought on by the beacon light at night. Great job adobo. Really hitting it out of the ballpark these days.

I'm flying the Fenix A320 in SU4 now and didn't get any stuttering with the beacon on.  I'm flying real time Darwin to Bali.  It's dark and no issues.

I don't normally get worked up over streamers, but this is right up there with "water is wet".

Of course the last beta release is going to likely be nearly identical to the full release.  This isn't news to anyone.  Maybe a few last minute tweaks that they can test internally.

Imagine having countless beta tests, only to have the final patch be something completely different?

Mr. Neumann said: Yes. Many (last dev stream). Expect quite lengthy SU 4 release notes in a few days time

YouTube videos, in general are getting way too long. It's not just flight sim forums.

Happy to wait just a few more days for the full SU4. I opted out of the beta this time.

I have been in and out of the beta at least three times, and I was going to opt back in as I was looking to test something of interest to me, but I might as well wait now.

Not only too long but also having too many and too long advertising breaks along with the authors including a pretty long section about their sponsor (which I just skip through).  More advert than video a lot of the time.

20 or 30 minutes is quite long enough for me unless the subject of the video is so complex, it demands longer.  A lot of padding in some of these hour long videos that could say what they wanted to in 5 or 10 minutes.

Whatever does or doesn't get them views I suppose.

It is the crazy algorithm that forces people to put out 3 or more 10 minute+ videos each week.

There's a reason they all fall into the clickbait trap.  The algorithm punishes them if they don't.

Try Firefox and Adblocker For Youtube extension. You will never see another advert on Youtube.

Chrome has made ad blocking impossible with recent updates but Firefox still works.

Agree. One way I deal with it is to watch these videos at at least 1.5x speed, sometimes 1.75x - 2x speed. Still, I have to be very selective.

I thought that publish or perish nonsense was only for scientific papers. Sad to see it also applies here😢

Absolutely loving the beta, except  for AI aircraft not having a landing gear half the time.  Kind of kills the old immersion.

I suggest you expect it will be utter trash.. that way, the difference will be so massive you'll be blown away.

Kidding - this is genuinely the single biggest update I've ever seen in flight sim on a performance improvement basis. The performance jump and smoothness from SU3 ->Su4 is simply monumental.

Before all the naysayers arrive - I'm talking only about performance, not whatever your personal issue with the sim is. We all know it needs various improvements.

I just copy and paste the link to a YouTube video into Gemini now and ask it to summarize it into bullet points. Means I can just spend a minute or two reading the important points and not sit through 20 minutes of waffle.
