While 1.6.32.0 will be released as the current live build, those participating in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Beta will remain on 1.6.31.0 for a limited time after the general release.

  • The thing I'm most excited about? Hearing from all the people who stayed in SU3 and who will experience SU4 for the first time.. I wish I had stayed out just to be totally amazed 🙂

  • WOW. Playing Geforce Now and am very close to the server so the performance has always been good - but man, with this upgrade my fps is significantly higher at ultra settings. Double in places.

  • Huge performance gains for me too. They really have worked some magic with this update!

It won't be updated for a while. That build is identical to live, it just has all career mode stuff unlocked an seperate leader boards.

PMDG 777 at a busy 3rd party airport with AI traffic and the take off run was 90fps (2x framegen) in bad weather. Used to be around 50fps.

A2A is up at 120fps 1440p ultra. Beautiful.

Good work Asobo.

Huge performance gains for me too. They really have worked some magic with this update!

I left the beta via the Xbox Insider app this evening hoping it would trigger the final update but it did not.  Still on 1.6.31.0

Well I knew SU4 was going to get things going. I also suspect once the 737 drops, the Steam gap will be decidedly over.

About 900 active players behind MSFS 2020 yesterday. I agree, when the PMDG 737 is released for MSFS 2024, it could possibly put MSFS 2024 player numbers over MSFS 2020.

Also the word of mouth about how good SU4 is, will also help convert some people from MSFS 2020 over MSFS 2024 (and even users of other civilian flight sims may consider MSFS 2024 after SU4).

I did the same. Then, I restarted the PC and did a wsreset from the command prompt for good measure. Only then did I open the store and check and it downloaded immediately.

I was in the beta and FS24 didn´t want update to .32, still was showing .31, I went out from beta program and waited for confirmation, then FS24 began its download finishing and starting again the download in a loop, paused, rebooted the PC, and solved, .32.

When i saw this. I leterially jumped out of my seat for joy. But upon going into the sim to see, they still say will be unlocked at a later date. Huh????

  • Unlocked “Cargo Transport - Heavy” and “Cargo Transport - Super Heavy” career specializations

They said this was added to the notes in error. It has been pushed to a future update for whatever reason, the notes have been updated on the MSFS site.

Do you make all your decisions based on one random comment in one random forum? I think perhaps you may be looking for comments to validate your own settled opinion here..

I'd like to upgrade to 2024 and I'm following the feedback, that's all.
So I'm asking you too, @jonathanC. Have the bugs with blurry textures and the LOD (terrain and textures) system been fixed?
