  1. Past hour
  2. I'm an MSFS user. I have not seen anything either inside or outside the MS Marketplace for some time from Carenado. Nothing either new or updated. I know they are not exactly at the top of the charts as far as aircraft developers are concerned, but I am wondering if they have folded up their tents and "left the airport (so to speak)?
  3. I also don't know of any place that has a steep runway and an ILS. Why the specific question? If you want a small challanging airport with a slightly steeper ILS only LSGC - Les EPlatures come to mind.
  4. When I did my multi commercial we shot approaches at Vy . As we hit minimums and decided to continue then we drop below Vmc
  5. There's one in the manual - it's four pages, so if you print two pages per sheet, it will fit on the front and back of a single sheet. There's also this one on flightsim.to: https://de.flightsim.to/file/72329/black-square-beechcraft-b60-duke-checklist-procedures-quickview Haven't looked at it in detail, but it looks reasonable at first glance.
  6. The crew member should have blown the horn on the cart: two longs, a short, and then a long; just like the trains do at the highway crossings.🤪
  7. 2 questions Does anyone have a good pdf checklist for the Turbine? I really don't like using the in sim version. And is there an option to make the throttle got back to idle and not go down to reverse? Like in airliners where I have to press a button to make it go to reverses? Thanks!
  8. How does this help the OP? Courchevel, as stated by the OP previously, does NOT repeat NOT have an ILS. The user is looking for an altiport-type airport WITH an ILS, as in, an airport fitting that definition that has a working Instrument Approach Landing System. To the OP, Due to the unique arrangements of these fields, size, and the monetary cost of ILS equipment, I do not know of any altiports with ILS capabilities. If you can settle for airports simply in higher altitudes and mountainous regions, but without the runway slope requirement, your options expand a bit.
  9. Hi Ray my budget is around 1700 euro, but could stretch a small bit more if needed...I have a monitor already , it is an Asus 27 inch..I have it about 10 years,.I cant find any mention of a motherboard on either website..I will check out your recommendations and see what comes up...Again thank you for your help.
  10. What airframe are you guys using for the Duke in Simbrief.
  11. I got to thinking about EGXC and decided to spruce it up a bit with PSXT. Using the JYAI Typhoon package from MAIW.
  12. Meet the Habitable Worlds Observatory, NASA’s life-seeking telescope https://www.planetary.org/articles/meet-habitable-worlds-observatory
  13. Don't think he is saying he has issues running it, think he means no benefit, or update that is geared for MSFS.
  14. A quick Google surfaced this as number one choice -B
  15. SI is not real world ATC. It’s a LLM talking to you with all it’s known inherent flaws. No way to compare to PilotEdge
  16. PMDG tunes fine for me with BATC. Check assustance settings in MsFs
  17. World told to brace for 'severe geomagnetic storm' today - the first in nearly 20 years https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-13402759/Severe-solar-storm-watch-alert-NOAA.html A rare and powerful solar storm may occur in outer space today which could wreak havoc on earth, officials have warned – the first in nearly 20 years if it happens. At least five streams of plasma, known as coronal mass ejections (CMEs), are heading toward Earth, prompting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to issue a severe geomagnetic storm watch for Friday into the weekend. This is the first such alert aired since 2005 when Earth was hit with the highest dose of radiation in a half-century. This time around, the 'unusual event' could disrupt electronic devices like GPS and parts of power grids, NOAA said – while citing how it may also drape a huge portion of the country, as far south as Alabama, in colorful natural lights.
  18. Sounds like you have th SpaceBar set as a HotKey or something. Check all your HotKey settings in P2A and Clear all the ones that are either not set or set to the wrong key. Dave
  19. When you use Navigraph FMS Data Manager, you point it to the application directory like your C:\Pilot2ATC_2021_x64. IF you use their manual installer, you point it to the Data sub folder. The AIRAC version installed there will be displayed at the top left of the main P2A screen, after the P2A version. You can also look at the cycle.json file in the Data sub folder to see the AIRAC Cycle number. I just tried entering a "fake" UNICOM frequency at KBJC. After saving, closing Taxi Mnt and closing P2A and then restarting, it shows up in the Info window for the airport. Dave
  20. It sounded to me like you will have the option to use other user's custom taxiway updates once that app is released. You could have a profile for FSDT KORD, Navigraph version, etc and you will be able to choose which profiles you want. At least that's how I interpreted it...
  21. I assume the idea is that once you're below Vmca, you're committed to landing?
  22. Today
  23. I've found this to be true after you first tune clearance in the BATC window. Otherwise, if I tune it in the aircraft, BATC will miss that it got tuned and not present the phrase options. Until it does that, it won't recognize anything I say. Could be that BATC and PMDG don't get along yet, I haven't tested in anything else.
  24. What a collection it is Vincent! You already know I have been exploring your work and appreciating it, but I will tell you again....great job! Such dedication and great effort to keep these all updated. 😊
