December 18, 201213 yr If you use EZCA just make a hotkey to get you back in the Captain's seat. If you have FSUIPC, you can also map a key or joystick button. Otherwise, check in your FSX>Options>Controls>Keyboard. You probably mistakenly deleted the mapping for your F9. No..Its F9 that is not working anymore. December 18, 201213 yr Can somebody confirm or deny the earlier report of the bus not being able to handle managed descents / climbs properly, stuff like altitude and speed constraints vatsim s3
December 18, 201213 yr It seems like the discussion is centered on TQ and camera issues. Is it that much different from the AirbusX? I have the original set up with EZDok and my Saitek TQ worked well from the beginning with FSUIPC and my 2 engine jet profile. Is it really any different from the TQ and Camera perspective? December 18, 201213 yr Pressing F9 oes not do anything any more. Can you not select the desired camera in the EZCA editor (you must be out of full-screen mode) and reassign the keyboard shortcut by clicking the appropriate field in the top-right corner of the window and pressing the desired keyboard stroke? Your camera settings may have changed after running the EZCA configuration program.
December 18, 201213 yr How do I use Airbus Connect X? Thanks! Start the aircraft, start Airbus Connect X, it will tell you that you up address and port number you need. Simply enter the address and port into a web browser in your iPhone or iPad or android, and that is it! Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

December 18, 201213 yr After completing a few test flights, I can confidently say that this is one of the top simulations around... I am a very hardcore user and I still find this to be quite complex. I am very pleased with the FMGC simulation and the integration with systems. Overall, 10/10 product. Ben, I thought you were waiting until next week to purchase this one. Merry Christmas. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

How can you be a hardcore user? Are you a rw pilot? Weren't you the guy saying how realistic Captain Sim is a few weeks ago? I'm sure it's a great addon but not exactly sure how you can claim it's a top simulation when a very basic feature seems to be broken as other posts have showed.
December 18, 201213 yr Moderator Wow, I am absolutely stunned by this release!!!!! I think I may have found the (currently) ultimate Airbus sim for FSX, IMHO. I wasn't sure if I should wait, but since I already owned the first release, the upgrade price made me do it regardless and WOW, I can't believe the 3-d model, VC, sounds, functionality (MCDU etc.). The virtual copilot, checklists, fsraas, this came together beautifully, despite my doubts. The FBW feels a bit heavy, but I'm really liking it, very stable and made it a breeze to handfly my first landing. My FPS are locked and solid at 28 with the AXE, no stutters, just smooth in addition to its beauty. Sorry for sounding super positive, but I like to give credit were credit is due, and I believe Aerosoft absolutely delivered and exceeded my expectations. Well done gents! Now I've got to try my Ipad for the MCDU....... Cheers, Pete I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11
December 18, 201213 yr how realistic Captain Sim is a few weeks ago? It depends on the context. Captain Sim products are definitely visually realistic, and most seem to be sufficiently in-depth for normal procedures and purposes.

December 18, 201213 yr My first impression is that it seems like a good aircraft, I'll put it through it's paces more tomorrow. Three little issues/challenges I've come across though: - (As was mentioned my another on the forum) I can't figure out how to switch the weights to lbs. - It appears there's no way to load FSX flightplans and/or flightplans created in external utilities like Flightsim Commander? I know you can enter plans into a text file and then import them using the CO Route function, but either way that or inputting them manually into the MCDU is more time consuming... - There are several items that the Step by Step document says should be auto populated in the MCDU (Flex Temp, V1 VR V2 etc), that doesn't seem to be happening for me... Just a few little things, once I get those figured out I'm sure I'll be having a lot of fun with this. December 18, 201213 yr I am throwing in the towel. I have spent too much time today with the throttle... and I can't get it to to work. Its like I have only two switches. TOGA or Climb Switch (Full speed ahead or maybe it goes to clmb mode ) or F1 button to cut the throttle (provided I keep holding F1). If I get way too slow, and I increase the throttle a little bit, it triggers the TOGA/Climb Button and goes full throttle... I then I have to hit F1 and hold it.. When I reduce the throttle, the N1 indicator reacts to slow down a bit ...(It knows that I reduced the throttle (So it can't be the calibration ..but then something grabs it and changes its mind and fire walls it. I have no Idle (engine) setting. And an A/Throttle that I cannot switch off. Throttle is as important as your Aileron, Rudder and Elevator. If I can't get that to work.. nothing else matter... systems don't matter if if my thorttle is like a runwaway throttle. I can't get past this to see all the other new goodies that they may have in here. Since this was a major issue in the earlier version, I am surprised that they have not made this any easier. Its (The throttle) almost identical as the earlier dysfunctional version. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
