February 10, 201412 yr Man, where to start... If I had to narrow it down as much as I could it'd be one of these: F-22/F-16 P-51D MD-11/Falcon 7x / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot

February 11, 201412 yr So many fine choices, but if I had to pick just one, it would be this sexy little hot rod: a Northrop F-5 [email protected] - ROG Strix Z790-E - 2X16Gb G.Skill Trident DDR5 6400 CL32 - MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X - WD SN850X 2 TB M.2 - XPG S70 Blade 2 TB M.2 - MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold PSU - Liam Li 011 Dynamic Razer case - 58" Panasonic TC-58AX800U 4K - Pico 4 VR HMD - WinWing HOTAS Orion2 MAX - ProFlight Pedals - TrackIR 5 - W11 Pro (Passmark:12574, CPU:63110-Single:4785, GPU:50688)

February 11, 201412 yr Scenario 1 Aircraft that I would love to fly (or potentially own) with my current level of flight training. RV-7 Cessna Skymaster Diamond DA-42-VI Beech 18 (would need a tailwheel endorsement) Scenario 2 Aircraft that I would just love to just sit in, let alone get a hours of stick time. Guess it could be my 'pretend to be Kermit Meeks' fantasy LOL Just watch his 'kermie cam' videos on youtube, the guy has the ultimate life. B) Any warbird ie Corsair, Spitfire, Mustang, Warhawk, Thunderbolt, Hellcat, FW-190, Lancaster, Mosquito, B-17...etc. Those old engines are music to my ears. Would also really love to fly a Grumman Goose too. ^_^ "The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." - Douglas Adams Tejon 'TJ' Stanley
February 11, 201412 yr Moderator So many fine choices, but if I had to pick just one, it would be this sexy little hot rod: a Northrop F-5 I'll see your F-5, and raise you one F-20... I'd also pick the Rutan Boomerang, and the Spirit of St. Louis, just to see if I could get her off the ground!
February 11, 201412 yr Moderator Let's see there are some tough choices, but... Military: F-16 Always like the smaller, sleek stature of it and after having sat in a few, I love the ergonomics, fit and feel of the cockpit as well as the visibility. Airliner: 737-800NG Even though I like the T7, 747, MD-11 and classic look of the older Tri-Jets, if I was able to fly any airliner on a daily basis it would have to be the 738. Love the fact that you can get it into smaller runways that a T7 or 747 can land at. Experimental Military: Tough to say, but probably the X-15 or recreate Yeagers X-1 flights. Helicopter: Not much interest in these, but I would just go with the Jet Ranger. Space Vehicle: Shuttle or Apollo rocket. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
February 11, 201412 yr Limiting to RW rich man with PPL: Myself and the little woman: Piper Meridian (even as a rich man, I'd shy away from the TBM 850 and it's 2 mil higher price tag). With some friends and family on vacation: 1a) Pilatus PC12-NG 1b) KingAir 350i 2) Beech 18 tail dragger (Modern ground up resto with Garmin G600. As a harley family, this would be sweet. The Beech 18 is a Harley with wings after all) Just me: 1) Piper Meridian. 2.) Beech Baron G58 The bottom line I guess would be the Piper Meridian if limited to one plane... But if I find 4 mil somewhere, defiantly both Piper Meridian and the Beech 18.
