Favourite Plane Right Now

Featured Replies

What's everyone's favourite FSX plane right now or even your all time favourite one that you can't stop flying? Mine are the latter carenado releases (esp the Caravan EX) and the PMDG 737/Aerosoft Airbus.

Well I am realtivley new to the scene and only have 2 addons (Scout,Decathlon, Citberra and the Lancair Legacy; both RealAir).  I use the Scout etc planes hardly never and mostly fly the lancair.  Love that plane.  Still contemplating my next airplane and this topic may help with that.  But leaning towards a longer distance high flying turbo prop.  Not ready for the big jets yet, still learning navigation etc.

First place tie to both the A2A P-51 Mustang and to the Lionheart Lear 24.

Both are outstanding aircraft that are a pure pleasure to fly.

Toss-up:

A2A C172 and A2A Cherokee.

They fly SPOT ON and the pre-flight procedures really feel like a real plane. Different birds... I like the RW 172 better but the Cherokee seems more raw and real.

By far the most realistic GA planes available in the sim.

Airplanes I can't stop flying...

  • Flight1 Mustang
  • Carenado PA46 Malibu Mirage

I also fly the Carenado CT210 for getting in and out of small Orbx airports.

Most of you virtual pilots are mostly doing GA nowadays. That's awesome though because me too lol. Props to carenado for releasing fast and modern GA planes on a regular basis. I like the a2a Cessna  along with the maintenance feature but the 172 is too slow. Hopefully, they release faster GA planes. I need to be doing at least 180 lol.

Lotus L39 is my alltime favorite plane.

MSFS

Bonanza F33 is my all time favorite (avionics recently upgraded with a GTN650), but the RealAir planes are all first class!  Scout in particular.

At the moment, I am actually having a lot of fun with the new Carenado PC12  B)

I can't decide but I've lately been flying the Realair Duke piston in FSX and the Carenado PC12 in P3D.

The Captain Sim 707   *hides in fear*

I surprisingly like it more than the NGX (mostly because there's more stuff to do when in the air) and it runs better on my PC. It's an AWESOME plane.
