I've had this over 2 weeks and i'm seeing all different types of ai liverys all over my payware airports and with no troubles so far.

 

Great addon, so just buy it for only 20 bucks, install it and get over it!!!! Nothing is going to be perfect folks!

 

Vernon. That makes you a beta tester. Did you try to create a new schedule to test that it works? I was able to break it in one afternoon.

 

Cost is immaterial. If Radar Contact had had some of those errors perhaps your attitude as a paying customer would be different.

Ray there are at least two, both Emirates flights, the 13:00 departure and now the 21:00 departure.

 

Yes I know Ian but that was only introduced recently. MTX schedule was based on Feb '15 when there was only one.

Is this the only traffic add-on that'll work with P3D 2.5? If so, I guess we have no choice. I'm moving over from FSX to P3D, and want to stop using FSX for good now. So I am looking to see if theres any other available traffic addons optimized for P3D v2.5?

Native P3D installer this would be the only product at the moment

MyTraffic does not have a specific installer for any sim, it installs into it's own directory outside of any of the simulators directories  and you then give it the paths to whatever Sims you have installed, One install that can be used in FSX, FSX-SE, P3Dv1, P3Dv2

I will throw my 2 cents worth in here. I am running FSX SE with tons of addons. ASN, REX textures, ORBX Global, PMDG, A2A, etc. My rig, i7-4790k stock speeds, MSI GTX970 x2 SLI (only uses one unforunately), 16GB 2666 RAM, Acer XB280HK monitor running FSX SE at 4K. Up until I purchased and installed MT6 last night, everything was running great after many hours of tweaks to make everything work right. Now for the first time I am experiencing VAS errors and crashes. Traffic sliders are set at 20.

 

My first flight was in the A2A Skylane with the F1 GTN750, at Aerosoft Anchorage X. As I approach the runway, I start hearing a horrible beeping sound, but cant figure out what it is for the life of me. Jump to the present, and here I am learning what VAS errors are. It has not ever been an issue.

 

Today, load the PMDG 777 up at LatinVFR KMIA, and there goes my VAS. Do a little research and learn about VAS monitoring. Open up Process Monitor to see my VAS in the described scenario at 3.4GB. Hence all the beeping.

 

Next I load up the default Trike at stock KLGA to see how it works. VAS is right around 2GB. Head on over to KJFK, VAS jumps up to 2.5GB. Bump the traffic sliders up to 50% just to see how it goes and there is a huge increase in traffic, VAS stays about the same, but frames plummet.

 

I know this is a lot of info and guesswork, but maybe it will help someone. Now I need to find what I can do to decrease the VAS usage. What I was using before worked great, no issues whatsoever. Back to the trouble shooting. :(

Its a shame to have an excellent system and then get bogged down in VAS. What were you using for AI before? Unfortunately you will get a VAS hit with AI , some programs more than others. I use the free WOAI and its not a big hit on VAS.

 

Try reducing your LOD and TML along with autogen slider back a notch or 2 . That should help a lot

To you folks who are claiming there are missing A380 flights:

 

Are you turning your traffic slider up to 100 when you test this? If you're only putting the slider at 20 all flights aren't going to show up right?

I'm curious if the American Airlines planes have been upgraded to the new livery? I currently own MyTraffic 5.4.

If you don't care what the models and textures look like I guess this is a good deal. I've moved my all my freeware AI over to P3D with no issues.

That's my next step. Feeling under the weather so not much testing or flying tonight. As far as what I used to use, it's name is not permitted here, and shall not be uttered.

Slider is at 50. Unless there are serious problems with the program major flights like this should always show. This one did with Ai at 40 on 5.4c.

Mytraffic is designed to be run between 30-40% this will get you real world levels of traffic at most airports.100% in mytraffic will fill every parking spot.

 

If you read the description nowhere does it claim that every airline flight is included, it's close but not that close.

When every flight in the real world goes off on time without any delays or cancellations then it may be time to criticise an Ai package for not getting it 100%

Finally got this working on P3D 2.5, have my AI traffic settings at about 40% and GA Traffic about 10%... Sitting or flying through busy areas gets me around 10-12 FPS... I know I need to configure and tweak my settings. But I really hope I can get more than that.

Is MyTraffic 6 optimized at all for P3D v2?

 

 

It could be better but this is the project of one man working alone, the shear amount of work to create over 2500 afcads along with 5500 liveries for 200 aircraft models is staggering and Burkhard should be proud of what he has produced.

 

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Since when did this become a thing? We shouldn't be 'feeling sorry' for an addon developer just because he's one man. If we start doing that, then we're telling payware developers that our standards have dropped and we'll just pay for any old addon that comes our way. Don't forget that MyTraffic 6 is $33 at its full price, that's around the same price as the RealAir Turbine Duke. If you're asking a premium price for an addon, then it had better be worth that premium price, because there are a ton of freeware developers who consistently push out quality work for free.

 

Someone else basically said to just throw $20 at the developer and forget about it. Has it really come down to that? Really?

 

There are already some negative reviews regarding this addon, and that's set off some alarm bells.
