Never seen that....I use simbieft to Dl the plan to the CRJ folder and then enter XXXXXXXX into route loads but never seen ISA and WC loaded Johnny.

It's on the second page of PERF INIT, it does load with the simbrief flightplan. Also the leg wind in LEGS does load too.

When importing a simbrief plan on my side, the ISA and winds are automatically filled in in the FMS?

Is it better than the WT CJ4? Because, that thing is probably the best thing out there right now and its free.

There are still bugs with navigation (unable to follow a route) and sometimes the FD will not follow the Glideslope (with aircraft correctly configured and established on the approach).

Unable to follow a route?  Geez, no wonder it's on sale.   Stick w/ CJ4 and Longitude (simple but effective) if that's the case.

Is this is a hardcore "study level" plane or is it reasonably accessible to a casual? Looks nice.

It's reasonably accessible. Failures are not simulated in detail etc. It aims to simulate the everydays business of an airline pilot.

I'd say it's the best CRJ available on any platform.

Happy with MSFS 🙂

I would definitely say it is pretty hardcore. But it does have the option to turn everything on and get ready for takeoff. But this thing is no Caravan. Plan on digging into the docs. Still, very well done imo.

Decided to buy the CRJ during the sale. I wasn't expecting much, having bought the first iteration for P3D. On my first "real" flight, it wigged out every time I tried to do a direct-to. So yeah, usual Aerosoft garbage. At $35 or whatever, it isn't so much a waste of money, but a waste of time.

I also bought during the sale.  My good friend was over last night (flew the CRJ2 and CRJ9 for over a decade).  He was truly impressed with how the cockpit looked (only the engine start panel was slightly different - we flew the 700), the functions of the buttons and switches, the interior night lighting.  He loved how the CRT's actually looked like CRT's (he joked about how they should have been slightly off center haha).  The only downside we both noticed was during enroute using NAV mode, with FMS1 steering.  The AP seemed to not track tight turns very well (turns from 45 - 90 degrees), especially when at cruise altitude/speed.  I flew our test route this morning but selected a lower final altitude (thus slower speed), and the AP did a little better.   At any rate, he was able to start it from cold and dark, and fly an entire realistic route, and shut everything down, all from memory - I was impressed hehe.

Hopefully Aerosoft can adjust the enroute FMS tracking a little but I am also highly satisfied with the purchase.  A little over 35 USD for a really nicely featured aircraft.  Does anyone know if Navigraph charts work on the EFB?

(enroute Minneapolis on the BAINY3 this morning)

I purchased this on Tuesday after never progressing past the CJ4. Just flown from Heathrow to New York, admittedly on auto fuel and got there in one piece. I could not exceed 35,000 ft without it dropping out of the sky so was probably using the wrong fuel setting in sim brief, any idea what figure I should use to get to a better cruising height without losing speed?
