June 11, 20233 yr No hint of improved cloud textures (ex. cirrus), realistic ATC, etc. If you cannot do good ATC or realistic radio comm, how can you do dispatch for several of those new occupational roles? And I want a traffic copter role so we have a reason to watch street traffic! LOL! Where is a static Flight Safety level flight training simulation within MSFS? One that scores? Come on! June 11, 20233 yr I can't believe how pathetic the thread immediately dove into "PMDG without an EFB" discussion. Regardless, I hope this 2024 is similar to the fsx acceleration pack or something similar versus a completely new simulator. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

Career mode is likely just tied to missions and similar flying logbook hours. It'll probably open the door for more 3rd party missions that tie into a "career" advancement. It's all about catering to the XBox crowd. We see very little traction in the core sim improvement department. Us study-level sim users have been asking for improvements to ATC, AI, and weather since the sim launched. June 11, 20233 yr After the first thrill I am a little bit disappointed. Instead of showing all kind of mission style scenarios I would have enjoyed more deep dive into a few of such careers paths that highlight dispatching of such missions, communication on the way and progress. I thing Reno and Maverick were very dull. I hope we get more beef soon for those of us who fly on daily bases. Let‘s see, but I have not much hope…

Like what the developer of the Honda Jet has recently said: Quote I think we will get expanded possibilities , for the likes of the Hjet for example, I'm sure there will be stuff to update somewhere or some new way of doings things for a certain aspect , to interact with the new business passengers system for example... but look at it this way ,Hjet/Vjet and the likes will be more enjoyable , pax driving to and walking up to the aircraft, requesting you to take them to their favourite ski resort in Aspen , you land, they're happy and disimbark and g their merry ways, giving you a 5 star review if they liked your flying enough , I think this has the potential to add a new, fun, but still realistic sense of purpose ... The crop duster will now actually dust , the fire fighting plane will now extinguish fires ,cargo hauls etc.... if implemented in an open world kind of way i think this truly has great potential. All my notes are based soley on the trailler , But I truly beleive the picture is far brighter than every one is painting it out to be. Honestly, like previous versions of MSFS, I don't care if I need to add third party programs to get things working right, but AI has issues that apparently can't be fixed via third party, and the weather system should be opened up, regardless of how pretty it can look. Not having weather radar in expensive add-ons is a joke. We had that in FS9. It's a beautiful sim at times, and I am thankful for it. I just wish they would address core features that don't work well instead of just adding more gimmicks to it. This is really why I don't play traditional games. They release buggy content, don't fix anything, release more missions or maps, et cetera, then come out with new versions. It's just a money pit. At the end of the day, unless I can start my career on the ramp loading baggage and worrying about heat stoke, I am not interested. 😄 - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired

June 11, 20233 yr So, it looks like a mission add-on. With seasons thrown in. And rebranded 2024. Is this part of the 10 year plan? Or is it a whole new sim? More chaos in the world of Asobo/Microsoft/Flightsim.
