I'm not enrolled at any beta and I didn't receive any update either (I'm in 1.33.8.0). Can you clarify this for me, please? Thank you in advance. Beta users only John. If you are not enrolled in the beta programme you won't get it. If all goes well, it will be out in about 4 to 6 weeks for everyone else. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). So there is absolutely no reason why MSFS should be an exception here. Heck, even MSFS(2020) reproduced some bugs that were solved for FSX 10y before (like some AI traffic bugs). On a more serious scale: simply because the RC (release candidate) of MSFS 2024 will be ready way before release and certain bugs wont be touched anymore until release. In this timeframe, it might be fixed in MSFS(2020) but the fix wont make it into the RC of MSFS2024. Just like we have seen it several times with the beta builds now, where some bugs were fixed but just did not make it into the SU/WU/AAU update released some days later. Verdict: it is almost certain, no matter if you believe me or not... I've been a gamer for more than 25 years too and what you're saying does not make a whole lot of sense to me. I have scoured the internet for the change logs of SP1 and SP2 and I saw nothing relating to AI fixes in FSX. I don't know if you've noticed but 2024 is being made to address issues in 2020, not the other way around. Jorg has said where possible, improvements will be ported to 2020. There's no hard and fast rule like you're suggesting here and I have not seen a pattern. Do you have any other examples? 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

The 1st and the last lines do all of the real work for cleaning up stutters after a big change to the sim or drivers. The rest is just personal preference. I've done all this but SU13 beta still causes some stutters for me... on takeoff and landing, and (seldom) in flight. SU12/WU14 was 100% smooth. August 12, 20232 yr I have 4 flights and about 12 hours now in the latest Fenix update with SU13 beta. So it's not the Fenix and the beta causing the crashing. It's has to be the beta and something else or the beta, Fenix, and something else. Ryan

August 13, 20232 yr I want to add my voice to the chorus of those who lost the toolbar with the beta. I withdrew from the beta due to stuttery performance on a 4090. But when I reverted to the current, already-release version, my performance was back to normal, but I still had no toolbar. Hoping to fix things by using Windows Restore totally crashed MSFS, and I needed to do a complete reinstallation. All is up and running beautifully again. But this beta is not among my favorites. August 13, 20232 yr my top bar is currently disabled because I use Flow. Next time I launch the sim I'll reenable it in the flow options and see if it shows up.
