August 9, 20232 yr Its a stutter mess for me. With 4090 and FG On in Fenix, cant hold 90fps any more... drops to 30-40 for 2 seconds. Averages on 70 siting on ramp in LOWW. Before rock solid 90. Cleared cache, dxcache.... 😞 Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 64Gb DDR5@6000Mhz cl30, PCIe 4 NVMe SSD, RTX4090 GPU
August 9, 20232 yr I just made a few patterns around Lourdes/Tarbes LFBT where I once had terrible terrain morphing, and this seems to be gone completely. I already learned there were some areas "healed", and not sure if this is SU13beta related or a server update or even something else. I'm still skeptical, but it may be worth a few more victims to check their pet areas (and report). August 9, 20232 yr When I look back on these long years of MSFS2020 who continues to cling to the branches of the tree to look good .I'm sure that MSFS2024 will at least be a "normal simulator" ,finally.

But before the 4th year closes (2024 release date unknown) the attention to such details languishes somewhere in a low to mid-level cloud layer with DP either 10° or 13°C, even when the ambient temp is lower than those (impossible), No way to get realistic about flight when so many of the real influences like humidity and wind are ignored or misrepresented in what is expressed (ATC). I too am of the same opinion of him and marcG. The same here Ian. In fact I'd rather that they just focused on 2024 from now on. Of course they would still need to fix current major Bugs in 2020, but stop the new features after this update. 99% of us will only be using 2024 in a years time anyhow. August 10, 20232 yr The two things listed under traffic that are said to be fixed are confirmed to be fixed (go arounds and traffic not slowing down fast enough to turn) Anyone got pictures of that basic 787 EFB? Edited August 10, 20232 yr by Tuskin38
August 10, 20232 yr Commercial Member As an engine nerd, I'm excited about the piston engine improvements. Developers will need to update their planes to use the new parameters, but if they do, there are some nice improvements: 1. Fuel flow will no longer *increase* when leaning the mixture at altitude (if use_volumetric_fuel_flow is enabled) 2. It will now be possible to tune the fuel mixture ratio more accurately using mixture_lever_to_ratio_table. Before this, the hard-coded behavior didn't allow enough flexibility to ensure that fuel flow was correct at both full-rich and lean mixtures. 3. Turbocharged engines will now be better supported with use_intake_density_on_mixture enabled. This will fix the bug that affects most turbocharged piston engines in the sim, where you need to lean the mixture during climb.
