Great to see this level of aircraft simulation being realized more and more on the MSFS platform.

I'm little disappointed of missing animation of deicing boots. I think Asobo TBM has it

I used to occasionally fly an aircraft with one of those RNAV units installed in instrument rating training but was told to ignore it as it’s use wasn’t part of the syllabus.
I quite fancy learning how to use it in the upcoming dark winter evenings.

So far the only way to refuel it is from the Main menu, or can i do it in real time while parked etc...

You can use the regular W&B menu from the MSFS toolbar while loaded into a flight. No need to exit the flight back to the main menu.

(If you have GSX, using that for refuelling will also work).

I accidentally found a video where all the readings of the aircraft's gauges are very clearly visible at different stages of the flight.

When I made my first flight on the TBM 850 yesterday, it seemed to me that it was very realistic. Having checked with the real video today, I see that this is the case. In my opinion, this is now the most interesting and truthful aircraft in MSFS. A lot of joy from flying!

Late to the party, but fabulous airplane!  And I can open the door again.. 🙂

I’ve done that too, but how do you close it?

Serious question,

First retract the ladder, then click on the door handle.

Question... the takeoff trim settings are not described in the manual as best I can tell, but the elevator trim has a green band with two numbers on it.. are these flaps settings?

The rudder trim indicator has a TO setting, but I cannot find the rudder trim... is it hidden somewhere?

If I simply leave the trim in the starting position, the aircraft takes off just fine, so maybe I am overthinking things..

I also have a question (I've tried via the Just flight forum hours ago but no answer yet) . I was cruising at FL290 and suddenly power (torque) starting decreasing. Any idea why?. (I kept all engine parameters in green arc). Many thanks.
