In a fortunate way CDKeys don't have the Steam version available to buy yet (rather pay more for than than MS Store version for cheaper!), so I'm gladly waiting on the subs bench watching the madness until I'm called into action by the gaffer.

Sim City 2013 totally collapsed and then was a dreadful game afterwards.  

After making the mistake of quitting the sim, rebooting and having to sit through another long loading screen I finally got in again only to find I have a single aircraft available to me, the ATR.
I don't have a single aircraft from the standard edition nor of course anything from my Premium Deluxe purchase.
Checked the content manager and a bunch of stuff is listed as disabled with no way to activate them. But where are my aircraft from the base sim?
I fully expected issues but wow.

Okay I got it installed played around with Robinson for a few then closed it. When I started it up agian about an hour later it's loading the languages and packages just like it did when I first downloaded it, and just as slow. I thought the load times were way faster now, so far it's slower in my opinion. Has anyone else had a better experience?

Like 1 million users trying to install all at once?

Apparently it’s common and due to the servers getting hammered.  I wish we could install all this word not allowed stuff to the hard drive.

I guess that AddOn Linker will be necessary. I don't want all of that on my C drive.

Is the Steam version in a better state ?
Doesn't that just change where you got the initial bootstrap install from but you'd still be at the mercy of the MS servers for the rest of it ?

They have one 486 and it is currently not responding.

Hi The loading speed is approximately 30 minutes at 2%. When checking the Task Manager, the internet usage shows 0.1 MB. Is it the same for you?
