There has never been a plausible explanation as to why the flag was waving but there's no wind on the moon.

Good grief, it's been explained countless times.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Didn't they just release a city update for both sims? When I look into your post history, I seriously think you need to touch some grass.

  • My opinion of Asobo has done a complete 180 in a very short time. After 2020's rough release I knew better than to preorder 2024, but even I was surprised at how underdeveloped it was at release. Howe

Geez I would not want to be one of the ones crazy enough to find out. They have said MS2024 only in which implies its for MS2024 only. I'm still on 2020 but I'm not going to try that.

...and yet others Like MK Studios are happily releasing MSFS 2020 versions of their new airports?

Yeah and others even still release stuff for P3D, so what?

All this talk about Inibuilds no longer building airports for MSFS2024...  In my experience the VAST majority (99.x%) of airports built specifically for 2020 work just fine in 2024.  Do we have reason to think airports built specifically for 2024 will not work in 2020?

Different LOD techniques and greater texture resolution seem to be two '24 differentiators.

Not sure those features are backwards compatible as ini also couldn't use the new LOD system in the 350 in 2020...

So I don't "believe" 24 airports will work in 2020 despite most 2020 airports working in 2024.

How does he make all those ridiculous videos like the 198mph crosswind on the runway without the sim

That's not Greazer. He's not that technically advanced.

As usual with these sort of threads; it becomes an examination of the human condition = the cup is half full, the cup is half empty or I haven't actually got my hands on the cup but I don't want to feel I'm missing out on anything.

I'd say then, that Greazer is just staring at a half empty cup.

Imagine picking on somebody because you don’t agree with his point of view. You’re like school ground bullies.

Then whose videos does he use to demonstrate his points?  He seems to be able to produce them on demand to prove a point and I can't comment on his technical prowess but he seems more than capable.

Oh please stop, it is not about "agreeing or disagreeing with point of view". There is no "point of view" in regard of scientifically proven facts. This is one of the todays idiocracies in internet forums etc, each and every no-brainer has an opinion or a "point of view". Prior to the internet time, such people would have arrived with their "point of view" e.g. in the local pub and the reaction would have been million times stronger than what you can read nowadays in a forum.

It is genuinely crazy the mental gymnastics to defend someone who by all definitions is a troll, under the guise of them having a differing opinion.

You and many others can rationally discuss you're differing opinions on FS24 and I have no issue with that but, to come to the defense of @Greazer of all people? Wow, comical.

I mean is this really someone you figure is going to come here and discuss in good faith?

Since I fly only 2020,it is totally stable except for the small bug that the latest Asobo update caused, (the shut down bug). What bothers me is when I see an update of any program that states it is 2020-2024 compatible. I do not install it, not going to screw up my perfectly running 2020.

Bet we could find a similar post of yours some years back around the release of MSFS2020 but with «perfectly running P3D/FSX»...

Go look for it, that should take you forever. Nice try, though.  😉 And by the way, when you quote me don't edit  the quote before quoting me,trying to prove some ridiculous point you are trying to make.
