PMDG 777-200ER Released

Featured Replies

Just did my first flight. Smooth, without any hiccups. The performance is incredible, even better than some default aircraft. Nothing to complain about at the moment.

Regarding someone's comments about the textures not being nice, they seem good to me. Everyone has their own preferences and standards, but I spend 99,9% of my time in the simulator in the cockpit view. I usually only look at the wing on the landing replay, so I don't have much time to observe if each wire and hydraulic duct was modeled correctly. The cockpit textures are the ones that matter most to me and they are well done on the PMDG 777 in my opinion.

Ultra-realistic textures and modeling are nice to have, but they usually come with a big performance hit (Looking at you, iniBuilds). PMDG 777 textures and modeling are good enough and performance is exemplary for other airline addon devs.

The quality that PMDG delivers at launch is also exemplary, rather than adopting the ''release now, fix later'' mentality.

What an enjoyable experience in 2024. Smooth as butter, everything worked the first load. It's a pretty standard PMDG plane experience, but they did a good job getting it working in 2024. Loaded in, d

These pictures being shown around Discords. Maybe hold off buying till the A220 releases. Some people still can't accept these are taken from 2024 even after someone else has posted roughly the same image and doesn't match the videos.

I’ll file this one under “Posts that didn’t age well”.

Looks like I picked the right night to quit buying airliners and go to bed.

This thread has made for an amusing read over my breakfast however.

Don't worry sure the next pmdg thread will be  just the same 🙂

It's excellent. I've missed PMDG. And now that they've had their pound of flesh from me I trust that they will release the 737 for 2024. I'd bet that they've already done the necessary work.

I had a couple of issues using the OC3 into MS2020. Crashed twice during install. Eventually got it to install and everything seems fine now.

AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo
64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

Works fine in 2020 for me. I have the MSFS 2024 Beta installed. I got the plane set up in 2024.Exited the sim and went back in, And the yoke is locked like the plane is not activated.(there is no activation on oc3) Must be the beta version causing the problem. If so i guess i will remove the beta. The plane looks amazing in both sims though. really good performance.

The product didn't install. The 772 banner shows in Op Ctr 3 along with all the liveries. However, under the main 772 picture it says in gray "Product is not installed" and on the right side under that picture is the gray text "Simulator not detected".

The path to my MSFS 2020 Community Folder in the settings section is correct.

Needless to say, not happy about this. Ticket to PMDG was submitted.

***Update - Uninstalled and reinstalled the OP Center. The 772 is now installing.

A bank holiday weekend in the UK, the first PMDG aircraft for 2024 released, and it looks beautiful 😍

What a typical shabby dirty trick, you see the sort of people we're up against.

FS2024 • PMDG 738, 77F • FSL A321 • A2A Comanche, Aerostar • BS Baron, Bonanza, Caravan Pro • JF Tomahawk • TAOG H500C

9800X3D B650E • ROG OC RTX 5090 • 64GB DDR5-6000 • VKB Gladiator, STECS, T-Rudder • Tobii 5 • ISP 1 Gbps

Ya i recommend not to use this plane with MSFS 2024 Beta Su2, you might have issues. Just letting people know. restoring 2024 to non beta.

My partner's out all weekend so I can't wait to put this through its paces with a couple of long hauls! Good to have PMDG back again!

I'm also free this weekend but I did have all sorts of noble plans to work on the house, garden, boat, etc. and I am literally using all my will power not to buy this thing.

If I buy the -200ER, do I get the F when it comes out? Or is it more money?

They are separate purchases. If you already own the F for 2020 though you'll get the 2024 version when it comes out. (If I remember correctly)
