I never had massive fps drops with SU3 but saw them go down a bit when flying the 350 or Fenix into airports like ini‘s EGLL. No so anymore. All fine. Happy camper. Note that YMMV. During earlier beta drivers there were reports of clouds sharpness going down a wee bit, is that still the case? I'm not in the beta, but I have read a lot about clouds and also personally experimented with historical weather within an hour time period for probably 6 hours straight for a video. One thing that always seems consistent with live weather is you will never get the same results twice. The clouds are all procedurally generated. You can load a flight, close, load the flight again and have slightly different clouds. I'm pretty convinced that these reports about cloud sharpness or lack thereof are more related to the randomness of the clouds due to their procedural nature vs any actual modifications by Asobo on the back end. The folks who concentrate on "bad" clouds post the pics of bad clouds, and the folks impressed by "good" clouds post pics of good clouds. In reality there are both good and bad clouds in the sim, it's just the luck of the draw.

Looking back from the delights of just spending my days simming, sitting with cats, and generally getting in touch with my inner Winnie the Pooh I increasingly feel like my old working life is nothing to do with me - just some weird abberant false memory. And from the sound of it SU3 might enhance it all even further. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. July 10, 2025Jul 10 Still getting the GPU Resource errors which I expected to still continue. It really feels like it just grabs all the VRAM, doesn't manage it well so as soon as the system tries to grab some VRAM I get the error. I don't know what to reduce any more. With my 3060ti everything is on low except clouds which are at Medium.
