2024 version has not been released yet I think, now only CE user can run the beta version

Thank you kind friend, but I am not sure if my issues are 2024 related, or just relative to the eMD-11 in general.

$5 USD, the price of an actual cup of coffee at Starbucks in the US. Good on TFDI for a reasonable upgrade fee to MSFS 2024.

  • Hi all, we're happy to announce that the long-awaited Art, FS2024, and Extended Sim update for the MD-11 will release on 12JAN26 at 1600 GMT. We'll be here in Discord to chat and address anything

Well, $5 here is closer to the price of two coffees😝 After that, only three planes left before I can remove MSFS2020, but all of them are default.

I'm excited for this update.  I'm slightly disappointed that it does not appear to feature an auto step climb option.  I know it's early too but I still haven't seen any videos hide the yoke either.  They said that would be an option but I would be put at ease if I saw it.  It's so hard to see the airspeed or alt. during a cross wind with the yoke.

I have collector’s edition and you can toggle yoke. I updated it yesterday and i’ve just checked it.

I doubt I'd have the time to learn this plane but I feel like rewarding them for being pro consumer.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that version 1.0.78 is now available to all customers. This update brings **over 130 additions, fixes, and improvements**.

**Key Changes: **
- Delay system to make switches and buttons not instant
- Yoke force simulation and LSAS pitch improvements (much better hand flying)
- A slew of new alerts and display behavior
- Various autoflight and MCDU behavior improvements
- Retuned GE FADEC and autothrottle (no more slow spool and no more dropping into speed protection on approach)
- Early descent mode not working properly
- Huge improvements to step climb calculation and behavior (i.e. they actually work reliably now)
- Improvements to ground navigation data (i.e. showing DME distance instead of ground distance, corrected TRUE vs MAG headings)
- Refined APU startup/shutdown behavior
- Fixed missing reverse thrust bindings
- Fixed missing keyboard flight control bindings
- Improved cockpit ambience sound
- And much, much more - we highly recommend reading the full changelog

**To Update:** Simply open the MD-11 Install Manager and it should show an update available.

**Full Changelog:** https://docs.tfdidesign.com/en/md11/changelog#h-1078-10-july-2025

**What this update is not: ** The art update, the PWs, or FS24 support. All of those are coming soon, just not today.

We really think you'll enjoy this update and as always, please let us know if you have any questions!

Nice one

I'd like to know if the plane can handle at least x4 compressed time rate, a must-have feature for long haulers.

Definitely getting this one. I’ve been waiting for it.

I guess I'll try the MD-11 again tonight. It's been a long time since my last flight in them.

I’m curious about this as well, plus if it has a Pause at TOD option.

Love the MD-11. Can't wait for the update. This was the last of my favorites that was missing from MSFS 2024.

Cheers, Pete
