  • Anti-Ice
  • Avionics & Flight Deck
  • Auto-Flight System
  • Brakes and Gear
  • Cabin

No that‘s not a *new* feature show post - they literally list *all* the features of the 737, even those from the FSX-era (they even quote that themselves). There are new features, but the list is basically what we always had plus the new features you already know from the previews

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

50 dollars is one expensive cup of coffee.

The 'price of a coffee' comment will become famous.

It definitely belongs in 'The ABCs of Marketing Mistakes'.

Very impressive list of systems and features, but I think the most important thing that people will want to know is.......have they eliminated the "wobble" before initiating a turn?

I find this post a little.. deceptive, its a little difficult to see what's new and what already in the 737 currently.

And what will the upgrade cost (= discount)? The fact that they don‘t talk numbers three days before indicates it will be a pretty high price and they are looking for impulse purchases.

They usually release pricing when it launches.

Yep, deception is the keyword. Make it seem like an entirely new aircraft by simply listing all bolts and screws, and then sell it for the respective price

Pricing will be in line with previous products, but will be finalized upon release.

I guess the price is $74.99, and the upgrade price is $49.99

That sounds about right. If I was to use PMDG math, then me running to the store and buying a box of coffee, box of 48 K-cups, of a basic brand is equivalent to a couple cups of coffee. 😅

Now that's a very expensive cup of coffee - certainly I haven't seen one myself. But I'm guessing PMDG staff drinks special kind of coffee!😜 😆

Jokes aside, this is certainly looking promising, Certainly will be looking at this when it releases. I already own B738 for 2020 so we shall see what kind of loyal upgrade path PMDG proposes.

$15 is my limit. Any more than that - bye bye PMDG. The iFly will do just fine.

That’s my opinion, of course this limit will vary for others.

9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

I just bought an XL coffee from McDonalds and it was CDN$2.

I don’t expect it to be that cheap, but if I buy a fancy coffee it’s still around $5-$6 Canadian.

🤣A $50 cup of coffee is possible in the United States, after all, their congressman Mike Waltz once said during a congressional hearing that the U.S. Air Force purchased a bag of bolts for $90,000.

I love the PMDG 737, and I'm looking forward to enjoying many more hours of entertainment for only <a complicated formula involving the price and quality of coffee purchased from a variety of vendors>

FS2024 • PMDG 738, 77F • FSL A321 • A2A Comanche, Aerostar • BS Baron, Bonanza, Caravan Pro • JF Tomahawk • TAOG H500C
BeyondATC • GSX Pro • ChasePlane & Flow Pro • TDS GTNXi • FSUIPC • AutoFPS • RealTurb

9800X3D B650E • ROG OC RTX 5090 • 64GB DDR5-6000 • VKB Gladiator, STECS, T-Rudder • Tobii 5 • ISP 1 Gbps

I would like to take this opportunity to lie to myself I will be price-sensitive on this, and that I won't do some form of the BOS-DCA route.

We don’t yet know what the upgrade price will be. It might indeed be equivalent to “a couple of cups of coffee” or it might not. The idea that it will be $50 is pure speculation at this point.
