Perhaps the "couple of cups of coffee" includes shipping directly from the coffea fields of Africa.   That could nudge it up to $50 😄

Love it, hate it but one thing is sure, PMDG let nobody indifferent.

Since it was a PMDG post I was expecting a lot bickering and fussing in the comments, but everyone sounds positive and happy. Good to see.

Waking up this morning I looked at the headlines. Even if the upgrade cost is more than I would like, the dollars to time is going to pay out a fast. A lot of things I do decide the price isn't worth it. I am a huge fan of Iron Maiden, but this tour in the US priced me out. Speaking of,  I've lost track of how many times I've bought their Live After Death album in different formats. But even if it's more than I'm happy with, I am going to enjoy flying it and sometimes that doesn't really have a price tag* I spent like $50 on the Black Friday sales and may have flown into one of the airports a couple of times. I am not exactly smart with my sim money for sure.

* I mean ok, being realistic on prices yeah, there is a price tag on my mental health. I don't expect this plane to hit that threshold.

PMDG DOCUMENT CENTER - Overview

If you click on "Aircraft Manuals", you will see the corresponding links to all of the current PMDG fleet. Presumably on Thursday or shortly thereafter, the 2024 documents for the 737 family will become available, and everyone can view the list of new features mentioned above. No need to make a purchase decision without that information. 

For what little it's worth, I'm going to purchase the 738 at full price in spite of owning only the 2020 version of the 737. PMDG has in recent years demonstrated its technical preeminence by becoming a development partner with Boeing in creating training materials for RW pilots. PMDG earned Boeing's business, and if PMDG's products are good enough for them, they're certainly good enough for the likes of me.

That's exactly right. I do enjoy reading the selective words. But then in interviews its "We have a library already built with every system, we just need to adapt it for 2024".

So it's their legacy code, small modifications, adapted for 2024, with a couple of changes in the model.
