  1. You have to add it manually to your library. I have all kinds of his scenery files. I simply choose the one I want, add it to the library and fly.
  2. Not sure if I understand "Part 3 decompressed, but part 1 and 2 no". All you need to do is download all the parts of the particular scenery. There will be several zipped (WinRAR) files. Then open the first zipped file. Then drag that folder (Example Switzerland V2 - FC Scenery) to wherever you store your scenery files. As soon as you drop that folder into its destination, everything that follows will be completed automatically. WinRAR will copy over all of the other files from the other zips AUTOMATICALLY. JH BTW, these scenery enhancements are simply fabulous, the update to V2 is really making things come alive in P3D
  3. C-GBIA used to be part of the Air Canada Jetz fleet. Great shots
  4. Great sceneries, autogen is lacking in some of the provinces/states. I keep pressing the developer, but so far NO winter textures.
  5. In 2005 I started out on a journey to visit every single airport in Canada. I did lots of other flying in the meantime, but I finished my journey this past summer. From coast to coast, it was a fabulous journey. I've visited all kinds of airports around the FS world. But I like to visit them by flying from one to the next.

  7. UTX Canada version 2 - IS coming - 1 to two months away, announced some time ago. JH
  8. Try a 55 inch Samsung 4K curved screen. Go big or go home. Super resolution, fabulous for simming. Had mine for over 5 months and its spectacular. JH
  9. I have a 55 inch Samsung 4K curved screen and my FPS holds steady at the preset level of 30. Dips in very busy areas of course. But the image and quality is spectacular. I'm only trying to say that it could be the quality of monitor to think about too. JH
  10. If you're serious about learning more about AI, texture sizes, how AI interacts within the sim. Go here: http://www.alpha-india.net/ Go the forums section, Set yourself up with a password and READ the tons of information posted on just about every aspect of AI. I've been a small part of the group for years. AI is an addiction. JH
  11. Toronto has quite a reputation, but I have all the others and they are great. I'm in and out of Montreal regularly and its superb! There are a lot of options to turn on and off in Toronto, but check things out, there have been problems reported. Some may be tied to the installation of other products, some of which have already been noted here. JH
  12. My Samsung 850 EVO SSD came with the cable and software to clone the drive, I completed that without issue about a month ago. I believe there is software out there, freeware and payware that will do it with minimal fuss. JH
  13. Why not use HJG's version. Free, tons of paints, good modelling. Just sayin' JH
  14. is your custom KDLH scenery sharable? Interested. JH
  15. Deleted my post, information I posted was incorrect. Sorry
  16. FSGlobal 2010 - downloadable version - will eliminate airport elevation problems at almost all airports. I have the FSGlobal Ultimate series, and it takes a while to install, but it's a fabulous mesh for the entire planet. If you don't use a SSD though, be prepared to take the day to install and defrag properly.
  17. Quote: "I'm so fed up right now I could spit nails. My frustration level is extremely high and I have zero patience for incompetence from HiFi." You may want to look at taking some time to actually read and learn some basic things about your own computer, FSX, and HiFi before you throw around the word incompetence. Maybe time for another walk in the forest..................a much longer walk. JH
  18. No changes to my cfg or odd messages during install, I've used the update for 3 flights already, no problems here whatsoever. JH
  19. Great idea, what a legacy he has left for us all to enjoy. Thoughts and prayers today, strength for everyone moving forward.
  20. Chris Rea should be all over the replacement position!
  21. I asked the original question of UT2 for Canada on the Simforums site and hope that others that would like to see the product might chime in with support. As a long time supported for the UTX series, I really hope they might reconsider. If you'd like to see an update, please chime in. JH
  22. Purchased a system from them a couple of years ago and its running magnificently still today. I cannot say enough about the support and assistance I have received. My only negative comment, is that the Ken is a Tampa Bay Lightning fan! Seriously, take the plunge, you will not only receive a top notch quality machine, but you'll also open the door to excellent support and assistance. John
  23. Does the Steam platform affect VAS? JH
