Wow, is that plane the real thing? Every time I look at the pictures, I think it is a real plane!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I see that so many people with very few posts and new many people are here too, this is great isn't it, everyone coming together for this. One of my favourite things about a new product coming out is seeing all the new and old people coming together to share in this wonderful experience!

PMDG,I just went into the Apple Store in Bristol, Cribbs Causeway to look at the iPad! What better way to test it out than look at the PMDG 737NGX New shots from this thread! I also left it on the screen when I left so that the next person would see it! Bit of marketing/advertising for you! :D the aircraft is amazing absolutely stunning!Best Wishes,Tristan

Great thinking. Let's just hope they don't think it's just pictures of the real thing! :(

I was wondering... seeing the detail you offer with regards to customization of the external model and the flight deck, would it be possible for you guys to deliver a "Airline Configuration File" of sorts with the repaints you make? What I mean is this: iFly has their MyFleet function, which basically registers for each repaint you add via the configuration program what options you want to have on your aircraft (what EFIS layout, winglets yes/no, eyebrows yes/no, what MCP panel etc). It'd be great if you would offer sort of the same thing, and even take it one step further: provide configuration files with your repaints so that we not only have a great looking repaint, but also all of the functions that the real plane has 9for as far as it's simulated, of course). Is something like this at all doable?

If it will have a 2D cockpit? Yes, we just don't know if it's ready.
*Drools* Mmmhh, NGX 2D cockpit! *Drools* Seriously, it's going to be a glorious day when they finally show the 2D cockpit. Think I'm going to sit for hours just staring at the pictures.Rob Belach

Oh yeah... The 2D is the only thing they don't talk about [removed ]. That is really going to be a great day, for us at least.

I don't know if this is exactly what you want, but Robert said this earlier.
We are still implementing an "airline equipment" option that will allow you to select the equipment options by airline- but this may or may not make it into the v1.0... It will make it in a future free update if we don't complete it in the v1.0 release.

My only concern is whether they will put as much effort into the 777 as they are doing with the NGX. They've spent a VERY long time on the NGX and I understand that it was built from scratch but I do wonder whether they will take it easier on their 777.

I doubt it, looking back each of their products has always improved on the last, i imagine they will follow suite for the 777.

I think this is the answer you want:
Missing from this flight test airplane are the multiple variations/placement of satellite antenna available, as well as the option to keep or discard the eyebrow windows. We have tried to anticipate the kinds of options that you will want to have available to you so that they can be implemented with a few button punches in the FMS!
