April 22, 201313 yr I know my FSX pauses whenever I apply changes through the Config program. I just switch back to FSX and unpause. Do you have "Pause on task switch" enabled in FSX settings ? Nope, I have it disabled so when I change to a fuel planner or when I activate my VA tracking software it doesn't pause the sim. When I first switch to the Majestic Config app FAX does not pause, only when I press "Send data to sim" does FSX pause. Karl Brooker

April 22, 201313 yr After changing anything, i have to exit and restart FSX. If i reload the aircraft it will freeze. Not a big problem, but apparently it shouldn't happen. Nothing is frozen, the sim is paused. Press P to unpause My problem with is wonderfull airvraft is as follows: If I use the ConfigManager (FSX in the background), and select apply to the aircraft, the aircraft doesn´t react anymore,. No switch is moving, almost freezing situation. Sim is running but nothing to initiate at the aircraft... Best Steffen Same answer. Press P to unpause Locked What operating system do you have? Windows 8 ?
April 22, 201313 yr ep, that was easy.. Pause on Task switch is off, anyway, it switches to Pause... Thanks !! Steffen Steffen Rabenau, Berlin, Germany / stevens-va.de
April 22, 201313 yr Yeah it doesn't matter if you have pause on task switch off, I guess that's the only way Majestic could properly load the airplane, by pausing the sim after its done.

April 22, 201313 yr Another tip.... make sure you select "Taxi" using the spoiler sawitch on the MCP, and select :Flight" after take off. Actually, you want to set spoilers to "flight" as part of the lineup checklist. This is a carry over from the -100 series aircraft. This is in case you reject the takeoff you will have spoilers. The reason for this is because ground spoiler deployment is based on power lever angle. In "ground" it is bypassed and the ground spoiler remains retracted at taxi speeds. I've seen 100's taxi with ground spoilers extended, and that is how you know they did not put them in "ground" Cheers, Todd ATP MEL Commercial SEL B-747, BE-300, BE-400, DHC8, ERJ 170/190, MU-300 C-17A Globemaster III

April 22, 201313 yr Maybe it's just me but from what it looks like, the tutorial assumes that you have read and understood the systems manual of the aircraft, hence the apparent "step skipping". It also assumes you are following the checklist as well. So for those having issues with the "poor tutorial" Majestic did say that this is not a jump in and fly type of airplane. It's one you will have to read up on first before flying. Also learn about the quirks it has too - turboprops are not as easy to fly as jets and need to be trimmed quite a bit...even with autopilot engaged - the q400s and mu-2s are notable in that regard...on takeoff your right foot has to be heavy on the rudders in the q as its two 13ft props with 4800+ hp behind them both spinning clockwise. 4% right aileron trim + 5 units right rudder trim helps on the takeoff and initial climbout.
