May 30, 20242 yr Wonder what you all, fellow MFS simmers, find that really makes the difference, all other sims you used or still use, in MSFS 2020 ? For me I'd list: - Scenery detail allover the World ! - Default functionality of services at airports - Default ATC and AI, even if these days I use FSHUD and FSLTL ( among my preferred addons EVER! for any sim I have used...) - Default detailed aircraft - even with their quirks ... - Unique integrated checklist system Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

May 30, 20242 yr The fact unit of measurement for QNH is inches mercury everywhere in the world. Or did you mean positive things? 😁 Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
May 30, 20242 yr 1.server issues at peak times 2.a ctd when you go back to the main menu 3. a jetty that connects to the L1 door on the 787 all three things still not fixed after 4 years. Edited May 30, 20242 yr by fluffyflops

May 30, 20242 yr Very few CTDs compared to previous sims, performance is very good considering the jump in graphics and there is a huge freeware community with some real gems.
May 30, 20242 yr you all spend more time on avsim commenting about MSFS than you do "flying" 🤔 for now, cheers john martin
May 30, 20242 yr Very simply, it feels the most like flying in the real world, not a ‘plausible’ world, or a world separated into high-quality but static patches with poor quality, even empty spaces between, but our world. It may not excel in some areas, and in others it frustrates the pants off me, but on the whole, it offers the closest idea of what looking out of a cockpit is really like. First time I’ve felt that in any sim, and I’ve tried them all (pretty much). i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

May 30, 20242 yr Performance. It makes my i5 7600k/GTX 980Ti combo look like a supercomputer. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

May 30, 20242 yr Global scenery detail which leads to a true sense of immersion like you are really there... Simplicity of Community Folder installs Consistent development train and communication Performance relative to detail (never had this level of detail with such good performance in any flight sim before) DLSS Uneven/sloping runways watermasks shadow detailing There is a lot they have done that has been done before that they have done better and there is a lot we have never seen that they are giving us for the first time like the global scenery details... May 30, 20242 yr Horrible UI. Long loading times where you forget what plane/airport you were going to fly from. Annoying "please insert disk".
