You know what I've noticed? Compared to the 2020 preview event, there are far less reports of bugs this time around. Especially since this is just their first early build, I think we'll have a much better experience at launch.

  • A lot of articles and videos to chew on and these are just the first batch based on this day event, hopefully just the start of more info and details to come, especially on the MS/Asobo livestreams an

  • I am not sure what I am thinking about the FS24. It is a FLIGHT Simulator, we need realistic weather, realistic clouds etc. not elephants on the ground. Sorry

One person has bought a terabyte of stuff from the marketplace the last 4 years and on into the future. After he migrates to 2024 completely, his hardisk is now 1 terabyte less full. And if he has a computer crash, he doesn't have to sort out replacing it all. Its still neatly in the cloud.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Waiting to find out what liveries will come with all the new default aircraft.

One plane I'm excited about the Saab 340B-perfect for doing Link Airways, Sprint Air (as the livery for that one is included) and REX regional hops.

Any word on the Longitude getting a passenger cabin (missing from the 2020 model)?

Wouldn’t like to be a shareholder in any of the current sales platforms. This is gonna drive so much more traffic to the marketplace.

Just wondering how addons aircrafts will be implemented in the career mode. Will third parties fill up the necessary data, like cost of purchase, maintenance, ect... and will they go a step forward by doing voiced lessons and certifications themself or use some help from an external company. I am 100% ready to pay extra for that, would beat any online tutorial in term of enjoyment.

I also hope MSFS2024 will allow charts viewing on another PC or on a tablet/smartphone.

I would really like to see a mission hub, like the world hub, where people can create exciting missions with voices, failures, events, etc... and why not integrate them in the career mode.

Curious is there will be aircraft profiles. Right now the user has to go to each hardware profile and change it for different planes if the user wants to configure multiple controllers different for different planes. In Xplane, a user can create 1 profile that changes all the hardware controllers and I believe assign that profile to a specific plane as so after that its fire and forget when switching planes as far as hardware assignments go.

Any word on whether the collision meshes/boxes on the interiors of WU handcrafted airports like LOWS from WU18 and YLRE from WU7 have been removed so that we can explore the interiors if we wanted to with the drone camera, walk-around mode or in photographer mode?

It's been like this since at least WU8 and was in the SDK backlog to be fixed somehow for devs:

Since 1.25.7 Drone Collision Mesh active with Collision Material - Questions & Community Discussions / Art - MSFS DevSupport (flightsimulator.com)

Sometimes, I just like quickly glancing at an airside interior from my plane's cockpit.

Anyone hear anything regarding REPLAYS and improved camera system for that, ATC improvements, Shared cockpit in MP?

No, but I reckon I'll need at least 16 GB VRAM on the GPU, as I'm already maxxing out 12 GB.

For sure, 16 minimum for best results.

I'll wait for the Steam edition of Premium Delux. Some very welcome aircraft in there, including the A400M, a C-17 and ( I think ) a Grumman Albatross. Looking forward to the career modes, improved flight planning and creating my own avatar/pilot figure. At last I can ditch the baseball hat. Roll on November!

Same, only getting the Steam version.

They're integrating an improved version of Fabio Merlo's replay addon into 2024, it was shown off at FSExpo 2024 a few months ago

ATC improvements and shared cockpit are going to be post-launch.

The replay tool shown off in this video at 55:23

I must have watched a different trailer then:

I can only pray Flying Iron reworks their P-38!

And Black Square goes deep for their Starship!
