May 16, 20251 yr I don't know if it makes any difference at all but now that I am using AMD FSR, I have updated amd_ags_x64.dll and amd_fidelityfx_dx12.dll to the latest versions - 3.1.4 as I know Asobo are using older versions as they do with DLSS files. I honestly can't tell the difference so it's not something you need to do and it might be completely unnecessary but, I did it anyway. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

So what happens with that performance loss that a lot people here complain what happens on or at landing coming from 500 feet ( or so ) down to the runways loosing almost all FPS for some time and than coming back somehow ???? Sorry, i am a tubeliner flyer and that landing around is a big deal for me because thats what i am doeing most of the time - landing big liners and so this is a no go for me !! That is what I did and after doing some testing I can say that MSFS2024 with SU2 is EXTREMELY sensitive regarding MSFS2020 addons, be it just a single livery for the FSS E-Jets made for MSFS2020 --> MSFS2024 stuck at 97% loading. Only when I have no addons linked via AddonLinker that are not clearly marked as MSFS2024 compatible, the sim loads normal. But sometimes not even then, I need to delete SceneryIndexes, Rolling Cache etc. then for a normal startup again. What a mess. Again... Something has changed in either the latest Nvidia Driver or in the MSFS 2024 code to cause this. I see it since updating to SU2 and I saw it in the Beta as well, with a different Nvidia driver. Switching to FSR3 FG does fix it but that isn't the solution. Strangely, turning off DLSS and FG doesn't fix it either, which is why I suspect something in SU2's code changes is causing this. Head tracking with Track-IR has become quite juddery since updating to SU2 and it was smooth before. Hoping that Asobo/Nvidia can find a fix asap for those of us who use head tracking. Do you honestly believe a majority of users is not able to land airliners in MSFS2024? It is not nice, that some have these issues, but when I see that always the same folks are very vocal in complaining, my conclusion is that quite likely there are not many systematic issues but individually caused troubles. Don't forget, this is a 60$ piece of software, which, and I am chosing my words with care, is probably the most complex software in existence compared with any other game. I was deeply involved in the development of a 200 million software project and I can tell you that MSFS 2024 is far more complex. If you just consider, that MSFS more or less is a flight simulator framework which serves as a platform for thousands of addons to run on, you can imagine the complexity that goes into such releases. People who doubt Asobos proficiency have clearly no idea of software development. There is simply no benchmark to compare an MSFS release with because there is no other game on the market that comes close in complexity. I would go so far, to say that you would struggle to find any software in any domain that's much complexer than MSFS 2024.
