Had glorious, smooth performance everywhere, locked at 60FPS with FG on. Was really enjoying the sim. Updated to SU2, deleted my rolling cache, deleted my NVIDIA cache and updated to the latest NVIDIA driver. Now I just get a horrible stuttering mess. Massive FPS drops, huge frametime spikes and all around horrible performance. Tried several reboots and still the same. Did not even bother trying to fly, the stuttering and fps drops have completely ruined things for me. Very unhappy. Make sure you update DLSS files to the latest versions, using DLSS Swapper. I had a similar issue, which I think was related to FG. Updating both DLSS and DLSS Frame Generation did the trick. May 15, 20251 yr I was not happy with stutters with SU2 until I did the shader cache delete and rolling cache delete. Not at the same level I was at pre-SU2 as panning still isn't great, but its miles better than I'm getting on the NVIDIA DLSS setting. I wonder if your updating the nvidia driver your DLSS files were changed...I think they are changed when you do a driver update. This could be the reason for your bad performance with DLSS. I would get the DLSS Swapper program and make sure I had the latest DLSS installed. Also as Urgent wisely said, I would shy away from doing a driver change at the same time as a sim update, just to be safe only make one major change at a time. Anyway glad AMD FSR is doing well...I'll have to try it out tonight. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

And this is a device manufacturer they say they are partnering with? The Tobii setup page was great in 2020. So many backwards steps. I have had a lot of settings reset again, so I suppose I now have to find and hack the text file again to get my Tobii working. What a disgrace. And I have the issues you have as well, on top of some others I just won't waste my breath on any more. It just shows that an ultra long change log means nothing if they don't address the issues that users need addressing. I don't even understand most of the notes. Is someone just churning these out to make it look like they are working hard? Asobo haven't just dropped the ball, but they have kicked it down the drain. I am sick of it. Microsoft need to look seriously at this now. It seems Asobo are really struggling and just not capable. Then again, it has been like it for 5 years - no more evidence needed. I watched 'Into The Blue Simulations' the other night, and he thinks his channel is dying, and even said he enjoys XP12 more than MSFS these days. I think the state the sim is in is effecting the whole MSFS2024 ecosystem. I understand it. I spend hundreds on 2020 addons, but I have yet to buy anything for 2024 - why should I pay hard earned cash for a plane when the sandbox you fly it in is kludgy? Really disappointed, fed up, and disheartened with the whole thing to be honest. Not sure where the sim goes from here, but it seems SU3 will be a long way off, and I really am worried about the ecosystem that drives the whole thing financially. EDIT: All you guys posting solutions, fixes, and work arounds above, thanks, but do we really have to do all of this to get this sim running half decent? And where are Asobos guidance note if it is needed? Really unprofessional. Edited May 15, 20251 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). It’s not setting related, its a bug and persists since launch. No it’s not fixed unfortunately, mouse is not behaving native - in cockpit especially. There are at least for threads about this issue on MSFS Forum. No change.
