You are an adept user no doubt, but stutters at any point for me indicate a simple case of sim demands exceeding resource availability at the expected FPS cadence.  Ie frame times suffer when your har

Can someone who knows how to use the SDK put that last part in layman's terms for us? Lol

As a retired dev of many years, now I get to ask the question - is it soup yet? 😬

Still hearing of many issues with 2024 yet this update seems such a meagre fix list at this late stage.

Absolutely a nose dive in performance. Ugh. Anyone have a good nvidia driver that works with this? 4090 and now I’m getting colored squares with spikes all over the ground….

pretty self explaining even for a non-developer, something we have been waiting for since FS2.  what it means is:

the KHR_interactivity uses a behavior graph to define an asset’s response to events, including changes in its appearance and behavior. Behavior graphs define a series of interconnected nodes that represent interactions and behaviors and are widely used by the world’s leading gaming and metaverse engines. The glTF KHR_interactivity extension carefully balances the high levels of interactivity and expressive power that is possible with these engines, together with the limited execution model of a wide range of viewers, e.g. web-based 3D experiences and eCommerce, that require the set of possible outcomes to be sandboxed.

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Yep same here, this SU3 beta has been a monster of a mess with performance and that's after they stopped the logging nonsense. Loads of posts across the official forum and discord from users suffering the same, looks like we're stuck with it 🙄

I think some addons can trigger it as well. I regularly see these at BMW airports in 2024, but only BMW ones.

IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!  😤

Started a flight, butter smooth, even a lot smoother then with former versions.
No stutters when looking around, 100% my max frames all the time.

Then, arrival: at about 3000ft or even a little above it started to get worse.
heavy framedrop, stutters, no recovering

Restarted the complete sim and everything and started a new flight at the same arrival airport with exact the same conditions: same addon(s), same tools (BATC, Volanta, Navigraph Charts etc) and got my butter smooth frames back.

I know they will release it again with this bug.
no communication is what frustrates me as most.
someone from Asobo/Microsoft could make a post that they are aware, that they work on it, what difficulties they face, why it is difficult to fix.
What they need to track it down.

Is the default TBM working for someone? I tried to fly it today, it seems to be less stuttering, but I got a CTD in external view.
