What they need to track it down. this is exactly where their entire beta program breaks down, they're reliant on moderators passing on information which in itself gets lost in translation. There's zero direct contact with the actual developers supposedly fixing issues, the SDK forum works very well in this regard so it points to a lacklustre attempt to actually fix users issues properly and shows they're only really interested in the background data they collect. July 12, 2025Jul 12 Unfortunately this latest beta doesn't seem to fully fix the the poor performance when landing at larger airports, that was introduced in beta 1.4.14 or thereabouts. The massive framerate drop seems to have been fixed but stutters and textures not fully loading in until moment of touchdown is an issue. Anyone else experiencing this? I think it is an issue for tubeliners at bigger airports. Stu I have very good performance in cruise 110/120 fps, in approach 70/80 and in final approach it is simply catastrophic.Textures loading is a perennial problem that occurs equally in both versions. If you turn Photogrammetry OFF everything is better. It's a never-ending dilemma.

July 12, 2025Jul 12 Yay! Well done Asobo! My control assignments are reset again after this build, including for the Tobii. I love you Asobo! Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). That's crazy, my control assignments were not touched and carried over without issue. I'm quite surprised that so far, all mt addons are working as should. I'm getting even better performance and better-looking atmospheric conditions along with Active Sky. I haven't done any long-range flying with new update, but I will try this weekend with PMDG, I Fly and Fenix and Inbuilds. Everyone released updates in the last 2 days, so now I'll have the pleasure of trying them out. July 12, 2025Jul 12 Before this update, it was butter smooth for me. I was hoping they wouldn’t keep fiddling with it. But they did and now FPS is all over the place again. In VR one minute it’s 48FPS then stutters and drops to 12.

July 12, 2025Jul 12 Problems for me as well. Gets to 3% loading then crashes. I uninstalled and went back to SU2 and all my settings are reset, including control assignments. Dummy me, I didn't back them up. I've cut Asobo a lot of slack, but this is getting to the breaking point.
July 12, 2025Jul 12 Still inconsistent performance - very erratic. Start the sim, free flight, iniBuilds LAX, FlySimware C414 - first session I see 25 FPS (50 with Frame Gen) and performance slowly improves to a locked 30 (60 with FG) as I depart the LA area. I fly for an hour and return to LAX and land on the same runway I left from - 3 FPS down to one frame every 5-seconds, then suddenly, after parking, FPS jumps back up ot 24 FPS. Next session - 3 FPS as soon as I enter the cockpit and never gets above 8 FPS during a half-hour flight around the LA area,. The ONLY difference between the two sessions is the CPU time per frame, which varies from 20ms to greater than 1 second per frame. VRAM usage and GPU load, using Intel Present Mon to record, is almost identical in all situations.
