What a stupid organization to find and select the right aircraft+livery. In the MSFS 2024 menu we have now 5 entries for the PMDG 738-800 together with MS/Asobos configure/variant/livery options it is a  labyrinth to find the right a/c+livery I want to fly. Not sure who on Asobos and PMDGs side is responsible for such a user unfriendly menu. Maybe both had the same wet dream ...

It is time that a talented developer creates an a/c+livery selections manager.

I didn't have the issue with the engines but did notice some sort of louder cooling / hissing noise during certain phases of the flight.  It went away after landing and it can also be removed by clicking the headset to turn on the noise cancellation.  Did try to see if it was some sort of cooling set via the overhead but didn't figure that out yet. 

Is anybody able to use the 737-800 together with FSiPanel (already updated to use it with the 738) ? In my case, during approach load it is rolls extremely right/left and even when I take control I cannot stabilize it by no means.

Are wipers working properly with animation or there smth wrong on my end ? I can’t see the promised wiper cleaning windshield animation. Anybody has experienced this ?

can confirm they are animated. cannot confirm yet that they also clean as currently on FL360 for ENVA

Not the greatest animation, but working fine here with clearing rain. Sound is realistic to me.

I own the -700, and I thought I would classify for a 60% discount, but when I added the -800 for FS 2024 to my Cart it was marked the full price 70+ $...

It was always said by PMDG that you need to own the -800 in msfs to have the discount for the -800 in msfs24.

Seems some lucky simmers were able yesterday night to buy the upgrade while owning only the -700 in msfs. Don't know if it was a bug or not and if it was pacthed since.

It hasn't been patched if it is. I just followed the same process that I did last night of logging in, adding it to my basket and then going to the checkout and it still gave me the loyalty discount.

I own the -700 directly through them, and the (old) -800 through Marketplace.

I bought and paid full price as I also couldn't get the discount to work.  Immediately created a support ticket and within a few hours they wrote back advising the credit would appear on my card in a couple days.  Not a big deal.

If that's the case then it's even worst - differential treatment of customers by PMDG. 

I had to log out and log back in to get the discount to show. I own the 800 among others though.

Only got it because I felt like I was wasting my original purchase if I did not. .

Although I don't have plans to fly it much, I was pleasantly surprised when I took it up last night.

Its a major improvement over the 2020 version.

Only after the 30th attempt to log out an in again, remove/ add the item to my basket, restart the computer several times in between I tried ordering using my iPad instead.

And voila, the loyalty discount finally appeared.

So don't give up yet and keep trying.
