  1. Past hour
  2. Saw this on a livestream recently: "The Duke is currently in Closed Pre Release - It will be available soon for £33.99/€42.95/$47.99 each or as a bundle for £49.99/€59.95/$69.99. And will be available through the Just Flight store."
  3. Watched a video some time back where the person complained about the same problem. What he does is to before takeoff, press the AP button. This will give you a red warning. Ignore it (don't cancel it) and continue with the takeoff. Works like a charm. I have tried it on a few takeoffs now and its like magic. The 787 is now a pleasure to fly. Give it a try.
  4. That's your fantasy, that they "continually need the public to shout". My sense is Asobo knows full well what people want OF COURSE and who the heck says they need to do everything according to a public's prioritization scheme, a public woefully word not allowed about the entire process of where they are and where they plan to go? The folks you continually deride brought you the most compelling flight sim you've ever seen and that is why they have the user base they do. Do you think it's a simple matter to stream all of this to thousands to millions of users, 24/7, something the other flight sims never have to think about? All for a lousy $119 US? Go fill your cup up it's 80% empty nearly always.
  5. The Just Flight website says that each plane will earn 165 point and the formula looks to be 5 points per full GBP of price, so I'm guessing £33 to £33.99 for each plane when bought separately.
  6. until you have a person talking to ATC with a shouting wife or barking dog in the background 🙂 ( take this as a joke please )
  7. “DLSS Super Resolution” and “Ultra quality” plus the c5K resolution your earlier screenshots suggest you’re rendering at … somehow MSFS has got the idea that you want to render at c5K resolution which will bring anyone’s PC to its knees. My diagnosis: looks like you’ve been drinking too deeply at the well of DLSS voodoo stuff 😉 Maybe undo all the DLSS tinkering stuff, including “presets” and all that nonsense, reset it all back to Nvidia and MSFS defaults for your system and take it from there. It’s OK to keep v3.7 of the DLSS drivers - but they improve performance on their own, WITHOUT needing all the extra fiddling around which just promises more than it delivers.
  8. I wasn't in the beta but this point is huge. Even in one facility there are disagreements about what the rules actually mean, and how to say things. I'm at my 3rd ATC facility and it's totally different than the other two hehe. Different people different opinions.
  9. All of the examples you list here use custom, external simulations (= separate .exe files) for flight models, engine simulation, etc. precisely because P3D sorely lacks in departments like flight model, ground friction or engine simulation. None of the things you (rightfully) praise here have anything to do with P3D's inherent simulation - they are all custom, outside of the sim. If you used P3D's code entirely for these things, you'd get pretty shoddy results. Being certified for whatever training doesn't help P3D in this regard, and shows that a sim being certified for something doesn't mean as much as simmers like to think.
  10. I believe I saw 59 EUR for both on a stream. I don't know if Ive seen the price for each individually.
  11. Agreed, thanks for your insight...That would be awesome, not a biggie for some but a nice touch.
  12. Well, BATC does actually use FAA and ICAO phraseology where appropriate. But sometimes some FAA rules spilled over into ICAO and the other way around. And btw even the beta FAA controllers had different views on certain things just like ICAO controllers didn't agree on everything. And lets not forget about the many local differences...
  13. Excellent! Some breath-taking expanses. I like the way the low sun angle highlighted the tracks in the runway snow.
  14. Which kind of is exactly what happend 20 years ago when ATC was first introduced into Microsoft Flightsimulator. They programmed FAA phraseology and ignored that this is just valid for the U.S. and not for the rest of the world. Which gives you all kinds of headaches. Even down to the way callsigns are used. In FAA rules you can group, like 1634 can be called sixteen thirtyfour, but in the rest of the world under ICAO rules you have to name all numbers on their own as one, six, tree, four.
  15. Aah memories, my first QXC involved following a rail track for 40 miles and a few years ago I was flying along the north somerset coast and spotted below a steam train...just had to get low and take it in. So yea rail activity would be cool. (BTW the steam train was only about 5 years ago in case anyone thinks im even older than I look/feel😁)
  16. Do you have a default region selected in Config? That region will be used if P2A can't find a proper region otherwise. Dave
  17. It sometimes spews out gibberish, but all AI voices are prone to do that, it's not an issue with BATC.
  18. The data for B737 is available (37+/-4 pounds for pitch, 12+/-3 pounds for roll at the yoke handle rim). I never saw it for the planes you've mentioned (except for +/- 52 kG for ATR 42/72 emergency CAP/ FO pitch channel disconnect).
  19. The clouds in the tornado shot in the 2024 trailer look nice, if inaccurate for a storm cell.
  20. Well, actually, I think around 25 op 45 characters or so...! 😏 BTW already people are starting to moan about ATC not understanding them or talking nonsense or giving too much instructions and of course all that extra talk costs you money with previous voices...! Curious to see how long people will keep on using them.
  21. Hi Folks I have noticed that when I'm in the Caribbean (I mainly flight out of TJSJ San Juan Puerto Rico airport) ATCChatter doesn't work. I'm using the Regions controllers folders, it only happens when I'm in the islands in the Caribbean on other places it works fine. Any idea what I need to do, if I open the FS-ATC-Chatter Application it works fine, but for the P2ATC ATCChatter doesn't. Thanks for any help/guidance I'm using P2ATC version 2.7.0.x My FS-ATC-Chatter library is up to date
  22. It saved 0,000078 Premium-Characters 😄
  23. Had a chance to just quickly jump into the cockpit and take a look around over my lunch break. It is nice to have my beloved DA-50RG in MSFS now but my first disappointment was to discover that Skyward didn't model the GCU479 keypad unit that folds out of the centre armrest. It would be excellent if they they could add it in a future update but I'm not expecting them to.
  24. Today
  25. Question, are these going to be released as a set (piston & turbine) or individually ? Have they said the price, I think I ready $39 but maybe that was speculation.
