  1. Past hour
  2. London and Paris, this sounds like AI related, cause if you approach these, the sim is loading AI and one of it maybe damaged. So disable AI to test. Remember what you added recently. This can help you finding the faulty file. If you have AIG run the installer and run the fixing functions. Dan
  3. Overreaching a bit don’t they? Sounds like hubris to me 😁.
  4. There's been open talk about censorship on their own forums, with evidence, now they want to censor here as well? Nah.
  5. When did they say they thought the weather as a whole was fine? I actually remember Jorg promising that they were revamping the weather and we would really be amazed by what they were cooking up. Well now we know that this ended up being moved over to 2024. As for expectations, I think it is promising that they developed dynamic tornadoes when no one really asked for it because to be frank, most of us didn't think it would be possible.
  6. You have avid simmers who want to help inform and promote the MSFS platform on the world's preeminent flight simulation website by simply copying and pasting the info they release ......and this is their lame response. Nothing more than a feeble attempt at controlling the narrative, unfortunately at the expense every bit of passion and goodwill demonstrated by the community. SMH - What a bunch of fools.
  7. Nonsense ignore them, once literature is posted to the internet it can be copied and pasted anywhere as long as credit is given. They have no right to ask you to not post it, they can't do anything about it and there are far more important things they should concentrate on with their own forum.
  8. I know and appreciated, but some advices are contradictory. One wants to go left and another wants to go right.... πŸ˜‰
  9. Today
  10. I checked the new version yesterday near the Elbe River/Cuxhaven where normally its a heavy load ship route but i see only 2-3 ships on the Elbe or in the Cuxhaven area....anybody else have the same problem?
  11. 787 was vastly improved by Working Title last year. You should check it out.
  12. Should be clear now: Also announced during the livestream was an update on the Sim Update 15 release date. While we had previously revealed a tentative launch date of April 30, we now think an additional week of development time is necessary. This will be the last Sim Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) prior to the launch of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 later this year (but not the final Sim Update for MSFS2020 ever β€” SU_16 is planned for early 2025), so the team really wants to make sure SU_15 in an excellent state before we release it.
  13. The more I read about BATC and beta I am thinking that this will become the Cyberpunk2077 of Flight Simulation. Stellar marketing and nothing to deliver. The "You spoke, we listen"-Video and the poll said everything.
  14. No worries. Rather have it be released without breaking too many other things.
  15. Unusual about P2atc having that issue out of the US. I fly around Europe etc all the time and use Navigraph and don't really see a whole lot of issues with SID/STARs. Any examples? Something I missed? As for the voices? Yeah ,unfortunately. I ended up spending a few bucks on voices that sound decent. So far (and with the background static noise) I don't see much of a difference between those paid voices and the other program voices. Have you reached out to Dave regarding the SID/STAR issues? He would help you....
  16. But im not talking of Active Sky. im Talking of MSFS historical weather and how do i use this in Simbrief. AFAIK Simbrief always uses the current weather.
  17. yeah understood but 10 years good flight and it will be better and better with our feedback and advices!
  18. That looks like a nice system, especially the case, and it looks like HP is at least using standard motherboard sizes and parts you can swap out down the road. One thing to note after a quick search: it looks like a few years ago HP had a very limited BIOS in this model, and they did some wonky power limiting that kept the CPU from its full potential. It looks like the newer models have an "extreme" mode that will apparently void the warranty, so it's possible it's a bit more tweakable now, but that is the thing with the big names: they are typically limited in tweakability and err on the side of caution by targeting lower power limits and memory speeds. It's not going to result in a huge performance hit, but you could get 5-15% lower performance than what is possible with something custom built. If I had a choice between the HP and one of MicroCenter's PowerSpec systems at the same specs and price, I would choose the latter since it uses a reputable off-the-shelf motherboard and if something broke, I could always take it back to MicroCenter for support (and you won't void any warranties by running the system at the speeds it is designed for). You may also be able to score a deal on one of their in-house builds. But that HP system is still a beast in its own right with plenty of good reviews.

  20. Maudib, O expected one, please do not become angry that some here fear thy loadscreen.
  21. That and if that is the issue at hand, XP allows users to create a (simpler if desired) keybind for fullscreen mode. Not ironically.
  22. But one question is: How can i tell Simbrief to take 24hrs old weather?
  23. - Added new option and feature: Enable surface wind attenuation cancelation - Forces expected wind speed reported to be depicted all the way to the surface/runway by doubling the speed(s) set for the surface layer. Causes ATIS to read back the doubled wind speed, but actual depiction will be correct. See user's guide for more details. Default OFF. - Increased depicted precipitation approximately 50% in most cases- Improved humidity/visibility handling between 3 and 9SM visibility for better visible obscuration at lower vis settings (without overly obscuring at the mid/higher levels)- Changed Depiction smoothing rate slider to request optional Apply/Resynth after changing option, to prevent potential transition anomalies when changing settings during an existing transition (an instant reload will occur when Applying)- Reworked turbulence to allow much higher amplitude at higher Turbulence Scale Factor settings- Increased turbulence effect strength approximately 25% in general- Adjustments to wind layering and altitude calculations for more expected results at all elevations/altitudes- Added intermittent checking of units changes by users to keep conditions data synchronized- Fixed altitude units conversion issue when using French and some other non-English language settings in MSFS, would result in flat, ugly clouds, incorrect wind depiction, and wrong altitude in general for cloud and wind layers- Fixed issue with surface gusts and variability not working properly
  24. Received mine yesterday. Enabled SimAppPro and was able to run test OK and calibration. Hoping to run Aerosoft A320 Pro under P3D. I'm running P3DV5 but looks like only V3 and V4 supported by WinWing FCU at this time. Configuration did not complete properly.
  25. Pics 5 to 8 are actually my original home town! I spent a lot of time on the beaches around the bay in Pic 5 and worked for the company that dug the holes in Pic 6! There is an airport at St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly that primarily hosts Isles of Scilly Skybus airline services. One of their aircraft is the Twin Otter so you'll realise the runway there can't take a DC3! The landing is I think at what was RAF St Mawgan now the Newquay region airport EGHQ. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_St_Mawgan You can see old military dispersals to the right of the runway in Pic 16. The civilian airport is the building to the right of the runway. The much larger main military buildings are to the left, now screened by trees. That side of the airfield was used in Virgin Orbit's failed attempt to launch space satellites from a converted Boeing 747. Virgin chose St. Mawgan because of it's proximity to the Atlantic, so that launches could be made over the sea, and the very long runway (9,000 ft). For the same reasons, St Mawgan was at one time a diverter airfield in the event of Heathrow being unable to land trans-Atlantic airliners. My uncle worked at St Mawgan when it had 3 squadrons of Avro Shackletons, four engined marine patrol and anti-submarine aircraft. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avro_Shackleton Two were operational squadrons and the other an Operation Conversion Unit, later replaced by Nimrods. Each year, the station hosted what was then the annual Battle of Britain Day air-show which I went to as a child. That's probably when my interest in aviation began and why I'm on this website!
