  2. This is linked to the airport scenery data you are using, or default scenery without 3rd party. When taxi data are consistent, taxi path computation is working fine.
  3. Well, I did try both BATC and SI on a truly short flight from EDDS to EDNY and my conclusion is as follows: Phraseology of SI was better especially on getting clearance and it was pushier to ensure I'm doing it the right way time to detect my voice was faster in BATC, SI was undoubtedly too long overall guidance throughout the route was ok in both cases BATC was guiding me down to the runway including landing clearance SI stopped working starting with the approach telling me that IFR approaches are still in work --> that was an unpleasant surprise BATC has also still a lot of flaws (i.e. not understanding the handoff frequency although read-back correctly, not being very flexible regarding commands etc.). I will keep an eye on both tools how they develop further. Both tools are at the very beginning and so it's not that important where they are today, but more how they will be in say one year. The biggest drawback of SI is the price tag. It's very heavy on the price (it's a BATC license every month). I guess the price wouldn't be that bad if you'd get a OpenAI Plus or Copilot Pro license along (which are also expensive). A key point in the future will also be how both tools will bring traffic to their environment because that changes a lot for the immersion. From what I know up to now this is a part where BATC has an advantage because people are working in their team having experience with the topic (FSLTL). For now, I'm going with BATC primarily keeping a close eye also on SI.
  4. They keep telling users on their discord that their taxi way data is out of date. Hmm, no it’s BATC’s data that seems out of date.
  5. Is there any plans to have the ATC tell you to monitor tower before taking off rather than always contact? Or will that come with sequencing? well either way it looks like they can’t even source the taxi way data properly gotta love early access.
  6. Thanks, Sir ! It helped - my plane was not properly generated. Now after your advice it woks !
  7. some things to check: Did you click the “Generate Flight” button (top left on Flight Edit page)? Are you seeing the correct Latest Flight entry appear on your Dashboard page (aka Welcome) in the top left box?
  8. How can I make sure that my flight plan just generated in SimBrief is active ? I continue to get a SimBrief cannot be reached' error message. Thanks !
  9. Today
  10. a full beta if you just step in now is about 20 G including ini neo etc. I just joined yesterday because of the tile texture fix and had also a 20gb update.
  11. Has anyone tried and had success with converting and using a simple USB volume knob as trim wheel in MSFS?
  12. BeyondATC sound output to headset: 1. Start BeyondATC 2. Click speaker icon on taskbar -> Click Select a sound output -> Scroll to Volume mixer -> Click More mixer settings (Cogwheel) -> BeyondATC -> Expand -> Output device
  13. Why hyping this? I did not see anything... Some dislike speculation posting. I see it more often these days. A bit of a pity.
  14. BeyondATC sound output to headset: 1. Start BeyondATC 2. Click speaker icon on taskbar -> Click Select a sound output -> Scroll to Volume mixer -> Click More mixer settings (Cogwheel) -> BeyondATC -> Expand -> Output device
  15. **Minor Update 1.0.22.EA** - Fixed a bug where handoffs to tower weren't happening for specific approach types. - Fixed a bug where visual approaches would clear you down to 1000 feet. - Fixed a bug where "intercept the localizer" wasn't being called on visual approaches. - Fixed a bug where transition altitudes were incorrectly calculated on the destination airport. - Fixed a bug where go around altitudes were being set way too high. - Continued work on fixing and removing hard to understand accents in the Basic Voice Model. - Continued work and fixes for descent profiles on STARs. - Changed the way descent instructions are calculated for STARs with no restrictions; should be much better and easier to understand. - Auto reply for "Verify information X" now working correctly. - Added confirmation for new cruise altitude so you don't accidentally get given the wrong altitude if the AI misinterpreted what you said. - Fixed a bug where "X miles from IF" was being calculated incorrectly.
  16. depends on when he joined the beta. A full beta install from scratch may by now mean 20GB. Unless MSFT accidentally pushed MSFS2024 already
  17. Another flight for me, from Larnaca in Cyprus to Beirut and it was pretty flawless, although it helped that the STAR led directly onto the RNAV for runway 03 at BEY. The only two quibbles I have is that the clearance didn’t give me an initial altitude (there isn’t one on the chart for that SID) so I just picked the first minimum altitude restriction on the departure. Secondly when I checked in with Beirut radar, my copilot gave our altitude as something weird like flight level one three one hundred (you don’t get very high for this 20 minute hop). Given that the aircraft was in ALT CRZ so will float up and down by a small margin, I imagine that BATC is taking the cruise altitude a little too literally. Also it should be flight level 131 for a hundred feet above 130. That all said, the Greek and Arabic accented premium voices were superb, very immersive!
  18. It is still not there. I've updated the archive for week 15 to include some new airports (KMKE for instance), see version 15.0.5
  19. Hmm today's flight (LLBG to LIRF) went swimmingly, until 15 miles from LAT it decided to inform me I was to fly the LAT3A STAR - 24000 feet to drop in 15 miles .. .. Not so clever .. .. .. .. after that it just got worse - never got back to me as to what approach I should be on, no further communication at all. Tried to prompt it with a wind check but it just said it didn't understand !! .. G
  20. Well I do have the original installer at it seem there is no remove option. However there are is an option "do not configure Auto start" which I select and then install expecting that although the program is still installed it will not auto start with MSFS but it still does.
  21. Has the beta resolved the issue where tiles are visible at cruise popping in from a distance? See here for reference:
  22. Fine set indeed, I am really yearning for the E190 myself. Is that one any better from FSS? It appears the automation is still lacking. But if it is only the VNAV in its current state I can live with that. Looking forward KLM ops and LOT ops with that nice aircraft 😉 Best regards, Peter
  23. I find it interesting, hence my appreciation the video was posted, but not exciting. The engines that power the Bugatti super cars I find interesting too, and the Koenigsegg and Zonda... but not exciting.
  24. Fully Charged did a video on electric Big boys.
