Hello,

since my question was not answered, I would try to ask it again - is it possible at this point to specify what improvements/extensions will be done to the SDK?

GREAT!

I was having a little trouble slowing down on approach and final a few nights back. So I called for the landing checklist rather late and only just completed the checklist before minimums. It was like: Landing checklist complete, minimums! landing!!

The B777 checklist philosophy is definitely better and easier... less talking.

Hopefully you can all be using it soon, in which case you can switch your current FS2Crew NGX banner to something like this...

:Drooling: cant wait!

Bryan York I am not screaming, but I also fly only using the button version. I find it more convenient as I am not used to talking to my machine...

I have never understood why some guys want "grubby" and "roughed up" cockpits. Fingerprints and scuff marks just annoy the hell out of me. I prefer nice, clean looking cockpits. After all, as far as I am concerned, I am purchasing a brand new airliner!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes my cockpit in pristine condition. I love to pretend I just took delivery of a brand new aircraft, and everything interior and exterior should be clean, or there could be an option for a clean and a weathered set of textures.

Great update, and obvously yet another "raising of the bar".  I can't wait for the -LR to joing my NGX!

First of all, this shared set of screenshots is just massive. I'm very happy with what I see, and reading Ryan's post of what is included and how the realism is implemented makes me even more happy. It's getting hard to wait for release, but what can we do :)

To comment on the pristine/not-pristine textures: I do like a quite clean aircraft myself as well, but it shouldn't be completely clean as that's not realistic. On the other hand there are many others who like a 'used' look, so I guess PMDG just has to find out what they see is the best. They won't be able to please everyone with every option and every choice thay have to make.

That said, it will be the same with the liveries provided. Surely at the beginning there will be the Boeing house colors, which is fine for everyone. But then everyone wants different liveries. I for example like the KLM, Emirates, Air Berlin and Air New Zealand liveries very much, where others would like to see American Airlines or Alitalia first. Let's just all look out for the release of this amazing bird, and enjoy flying it around the world :)

or there could be an option for a clean and a weathered set of textures.

That would be awesome! I like my flight-deck to be clean but used looking...

Definition of the term "realistic" is a shady area. After all, a shiny, clean cockpit without a mark on it is realistic when the aircraft is first delivered. At the end of the day, whether you get a clean looking cockpit or a dirty one, you are only getting a snapshot of a single moment in time. That being the case, they are both just as "realistic" as each other.

I would imagine an Emirates livery will certainly be on the release base pack.... i hope...

Great news! And btw, appart from those people screaming for the Button Version (surely a legitemate demand), please dont forget us VOICE-users including me - even though i have a German-accent it works flawlessly and i couldn't imagine doing it by a button again, it feels just so intuitive by voice - and my girlfriend finally got used to me talking to my computer as well... ;)

Why wouldn't it? I mean... EK is the worlds largest operator of the 777. On top of that, they're also the only operator that have bought every single type of the 777. Therefore the first livery to be released for the 777 (apart from PMDG colours) should be Emirates and United because they were the first to take delivery of one.
