And I could care less about airports whether they were converted or not. As long as the airport is not a little patch like xp or p3d I'm good Once again, your reply indicates lack of any comprehension of the reply. This seems to be a theme with you. He is talking about development of scenery and the conversion of existing airports in MSFS for this update and future development. Seriously, you need to actually read and not guess. Eric

From the way of it, they seem to make breaking sales with the DC-6 and even sales will be more with the 737, that doesn't come free, comes with pain, especially in a new platform like MSFS. As long RSR is making money and Asobo answers his requests, they are set and ready for this pain. AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

If they sell a 100.000 units at about 100$, they will certainly be happy to repair it every month. Don't you think? For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. You sound like a politician, you cannot put a square peg in a round hole unless you blow a hole in the ground, but Asobo doesnt allow dynamite. It's called waiting for the next version, that's the workaround. You're wasting your time with this person. He lacks any comprehension skills. Eric

July 29, 20214 yr Amazing bunch of contradictory reports! My update failed (due to Process Lasso) so I ended up uninstalling then doing a reinstall and haven't had a chance to run it yet. It seems some still find most everything in good shape or even better, and others a complete disaster. Hard to fathom the range of impressions on this. I think since so much went into initial development on Win 10 I think it's very plausible, now that the Xbox release has largely happened, Asobo will go back and retune MSFS for PC users. So probably the best policy is to use it as you can and expect improvements to come very likely in the not too distant future for PC users. I should know in a couple of hours as I will have a chance to use it once again. July 29, 20214 yr When Asobo releases the next patch, I wonder what is going to be the mental process of some: 1. Um, I was too alarmed, they fixed it quite well...... or 2. You see guys? I was RIGHT , this was a disaster. Edited July 29, 20214 yr by Aristoteles Iñigo Bildarratz
July 29, 20214 yr Yes, cannot wait until the next patch when the gauge development works again, otherwise that 737 will have no gauges (lol), or they'll have to use a template to get them working. 5 minutes ago, pmb said: While the slider idea has something, I can foresee what will happen: 90% of the users will draw them to the maximum right and claim the simulator is crawling at 10fps. Kind regards, Michael Well, I think when they make a gazillion sliders like they have it now is part of the issue, they can leave those sliders but they need to make 5-6 basic sliders, and then hide the other ones a bit more buried in the UI. They could just simplify the sliders a bit. I cannot really see this as an issue, considering there are so many games you can bring to a hault by pushing the sliders to the max (though not many with a 2080+/3070+), but i mean for the average user. Kind regards, Michael Unfortunately that's what would happen, 100%. I have seen that with other games, I have even had a developer admitting that this was exactly the reason why the wouldn't "allow" the maximum setting. Sure, there are other ways like a big fat red "WARNING! YOUR FPS MAY DECREASE A LOT!", known from other games, but seriously, how much handholding do adults need these days? It's a pity that devs have to treat them like little children. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
