April 8, 20224 yr I think saying they never fix anything is a bit harsh and untrue considering they have released updates for various products over the years. Sure we might still be waiting for certain things they have announced previously but obviously priorities have changed currently. Sure, the DC-6 could use an update, but I fly her often without much concern of those awaited updates. I also do-so, knowing that they're working hard on some seriously needed complex airliners.

But how about the long-standing issues with LNAV etc for so many years regarding the 737, 747, and 777 that are still not fixed? Let's be honest about it and acknowledge the shortcomings. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
April 9, 20224 yr Don't forget that FS20 is a constant evolution sim, and PMDG leaves their products the same for years, no evolution or further development. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).
April 9, 20224 yr FWIW, RSR confirmed the order of release is the 700, then the 600 then 800 then 900 in the Skyblue podcast this evening. Jonathon James

April 9, 20224 yr 17 hours ago, Fiorentoni said: Ah no, that was just in numerical order from 600 up to 900 for the remaining packages. RSR already stated multiple times that the -800 will be second in line. So I don't think that changed. Seems to be confirmed by rsr in his last postcat. 700, 600, 800 and 900 Frédéric Giraud

April 9, 20224 yr I really wish that people would stop all of this "the 700 is being released first so that PMDG can milk the customer base before the popular versions are released" BS. Do you really think that the vast majority of the PMDG customer base limit themselves to only flying real world types on real world routes? Flight simulation is so much more than that. Anyway, there are loads of 700s flying all over the world. Granted, not as many as there are 800s, but so what? If you are that bothered by it, set up a self help group for butt hurt 800 pilots. You can grumble about it with like minded individuals to your heart's content. All seven of them.
