ALERT!!!!!!

Please note that while the updated FAQ has confirmed that aircraft in our current Premium Deluxe versions will work in 2024, they will work AS THEY ARE. Purchasing each tier of the sim gives you access to upgraded versions of the current ones.

So if you're not interested in having a better version of your 787, Longitude etc. Go ahead and purchase the standard version otherwise, you might want to get the higher tiers right off the bat to avoid paying an additional premium to upgrade later.

Okay, this is becoming as clear as mud, lol.

I think it'll be Premium Deluxe again to be on the safe side.

  • A lot of articles and videos to chew on and these are just the first batch based on this day event, hopefully just the start of more info and details to come, especially on the MS/Asobo livestreams an

  • I am not sure what I am thinking about the FS24. It is a FLIGHT Simulator, we need realistic weather, realistic clouds etc. not elephants on the ground. Sorry

I have a question:

In MSFS2020 I still have the blurries on glass cockpit instruments. This is with DX12, DLSS etc... Does anyone know if this has been addressed for all users. (I know some users say this does not affect them or they did graphics workarounds. I'm trying to determine if they have corrected the issue so as no tweaks are needed)

Thanks

I’m surprised nobody that I’ve seen asked them this question. I would say 95% chance it has not been addressed as they’ve said before they cannot do anything about it and it was in NVIDIA lap to sort it.

Is there a list anywhere if the custom airports for each version ?  Last time I purchased Premium Deluxe to get EGLL.

Not yet.

This is what I'd like to know also. Be nice to have some visual comparisons of what the default vs the custom airports look like also.

Premium Deluxe for me as that is what I have now, and I chose it because of the airports.  I've hardly touched any of the included aircraft so the Aviation edition wouldn't make any sense for me.

If money was a factor for me, I would wait until I could afford Premium rather than get Standard and faff about trying to get bits from 2020 to work.

So career mode has persistent wear I heard on a video, I wonder if free flight mode does as well?

From what I understand, not between flights. Aircraft are treated as brand new in free flight.

I think if you're flying for a while on the same session stuff might wear down.

Thanks for this!

Anyone else a bit disappointed that Carenado is doing the Saab 340?  With the dearth of turboprop airliners in the sim (relative to other types), I was hoping for a more high-fidelity representation.  Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised; some of their planes for 2020 aren't half-bad.

They had one for FSX/P3D (and X-Plane) and unless you're looking for High Fidelity in all systems, it was a good experience.

So, am I "disappointed"? No.

Having an addon that sells for $40 in other simulators included for free in v2024 makes me happy.

Apparently yes. The official FAQ's have been updated to confirm this.

Glad I haven't pre-ordered anything yet....

It's still not clear, tho, at least as literally written.

If they're going to give you D/PD aircraft even if you buy STD, that's awesome and completely breaks with tradition. 😁

But does that mean you'll get v2024 versions of those...?

Pardon my "paranoia" - I spend a lot of time reading contracts 🤣

I kinda agree with you based on what's been literally written.

And yesterday I was obviously highly skeptical of getting anything extra with the STD version, but the FAQ update is still unclear...

TBH it's an academic issue for me as I want all the net-new aircraft, anyway, and I'm gonna extend that to the Aviators edition if for no other reason than I like to collect interesting aircraft whether I spend much time in them or not. 🤙

So, yeah, like the other guy said, "clear as mud" right now 🤣
