Support them with what? I thoroughly enjoyed their busses for P3D but they're about 3 years to late to the party and their pricing in P3D was already very high. I cannot imagine what they could possibly add to the Airbus CEOs that would make me switch from the complete Fenix works to this. And I'm not going to throw money at a developer because they used to have a nice product half a decade ago. Now if they had picked something sensible like the NEO lineup or a B787 I'd be excited but this is one of the most questionable business decisions I've witnessed in recent years.

As some others have already said, the only thing the Fenix needs is support for time acceleration greater than x2. Even if FSL offer this that won't be a good enough reason for me to abandon the Fenix.

This sums it up nicely. They missed the chance to develop something new and exciting like an A220 or an Embraer E2. FBW (A380) and iniBuilds (A350) have done exactly that. So it can be done.

Just thought I would add some numbers in - Of course this is just people who use Volanta and it's a random Tuesday. Currently:

• MSFS: 1821
• P3D: 82
• X-Plane: 213

Interesting either way. I don't know if FsLabs would make anything "new" for P3D but keeping their current range updated would most likely the route they would go for while they dedicate time to MSFS development.

Knowing there past also might suggest the future. How about a "State of the art " A350 or 330 because you are part of a growing sim ? . At least give them the benefit of a life time living sim factory .

I will probably be hated by some users for what I write now, but back in P3D I preferred the Aerosoft A320 over the FSL A320 by far. The FSL model was a masterpiece of software engineering and much more detailed. However, it was such a resource hog that I typically had fps in the teens during cruise and single-digit fps during landing, even at small default airports. It simply wasn't usable for me, and I had made the same experience with their Concorde in FSX (which was one reason why I didn't buy it again for P3D).

Speculating about the future: the only way FSL can beat Fenix is by putting in a lot more details and system depth. I would not be surprised if the result would again require a high-end PC to be flyable. I will patiently wait but I am not holding my breath for this release.

Nowhere near enough to sustain a healthy developer market. Denying that would be like insisting the earth is flat.

I know they have made a lot of efforts to improve and hopefully in 2024 they can improve even more but if FSL manages to take the physics and other things out of the simulator like other top developers do I will buy it for sure.

No, there really isn’t, and that’s why almost nothing gets made for it anymore.
