I checked the "white airbus display" bug on low/medium texture settings. Now it's fixed for me.

Funny non of my settings changed at all. Graphics multi monitors or controls.

I don't use career mode maybe that is what they worked on, seems a lot of complaints are about that.

I posted this in another thread:

Just did a flight in the Fenix A319.

My Take:

Everything fie with WinWing FCU/FCIS.

GSX is still a bit confused with parked stairs you have to taxi through etc. And AI planes are in the gate you should taxi to. No change from before.

Flight CYSJ-CYHZ with a few in route plan changes, just for fun. No problems at all.

Looks great flies great as before.

I will try a heli flight next.

This is hilarious, lets name it. 2.5GB for this changelog in a sim where supposedly everything is streamed? I mean: seriously? I am 100% sure that along this hotfix, plenty of stuff is adressed server side, lets wait for the reports coming in...

Hmm,  Mine was 3.3GB

You do realise this is a hotfix update, in other words they deemed this fix important enough to have its own sole update, so for those complaining that it's been XX days and all you have done is fixed one bug, thats not the case.

One fix a week is not gonna cut it that's for sure, you can't tell me all 175 Asobo staff members worked on this bug 🤣

All the fixes are coming in SU1. This is just a hottix. I expect the list or fixes in SU1 to be long, and most of the staff have probably been working on SU1 fixes since they came back from to the office in the new year.

I'm on my second Xbox Games pass $1 trial. SO after this update I took my usual VFR test flight from Swanson to Vashon in PNW in the Stock C172 with the Pimax Crystal light, back to back in 24 and 20. On its own I wouldn't give MSFS 2020 10 out of 10. There is loads of room for improvement in VR. Especially in performance. But for the sake of comparison generally Speaking MSFS 2020 getting 10 out of 10, I'd give MSFS 2024 4 out of 10. In every way I've looked at it with one exception.  I find 2020 seriously superior to 2024. Loading time is the exception. But I've found loading time with MSFS 2020 has improved or at least appears to have improved much lately.

I have a feeling this might be an unmitigated disaster for Microsoft flight Simulator. It's as bad or worse than the whole Microsoft Flight thing and might spell the end of the franchise yet again.

If anyone wanting to get into FS asked me which Sim to get 20 or 24. I'd say definitely 20! And I think that answer will be unchanged for far to long for 2024 to survive.

So if it’s addressed “server side” why is the client getting 2.5GB of update?

Takes a min longer to startup now - but who knows that changes with the wind

If you use the addons that eliminates intro video from Flightsim.to update will put back original intro video

Hot Fixes are still needed for the obvious game affecting issues, waiting for SU1 isn't good enough simply put, just seems bizarre to release a 2.5gb patch for one thing.

Release a broken product, go on vacation, come back, and release a cosmetic hotfix... And nobody gets fired.

I'm in the wrong industry.

November 19, 2025 will be the ideal date for stable FS2024 as it was technically planned. It was written on the post-it in a remote corner of their office, opposite their coffee machine.

568.3 mb update here. pc

Release notes don't list the update number like before. Just titled "release notes".

It depends what is broken! I don't touch parts of the sim is broken and enjoy what works. In my case it's predominately free flights. Some stock airplanes works fine out of the box Grumman is one of the few of them
