We know SU 1 is coming so why are we getting bent out of shape over one problem being fixed in the meantime? Since the disastrous release of FS2024, you have been much less talkative about sharing the technical prowess of FS2024. In the absence of that, you try to make humor. Be careful not to fail a second time.We cry if we like it.We all paid for our show tickets.

January 10, 20251 yr I hope to God that this patch contains a hidden fix to enable the likes of PMDG, JF, FSLTL, FSS etc etc to makes their addons compatible!!!!! Because that's the thing that's really PMO!!!!!!! I bought the sim on the basis that Asobo promised they would be! I remember the Aosobo guy looking incredulous on a live stream when asked the question regarding aftermarket addons. His eyebrows raised because of course they would be! Then they have Microsoft, you're telling me they don't have testing possibilities!? They are, quite factually, terrible at Quality Control and no amount of excuses will hide that fact. Hmmm, having watched the last stream I was the impression they have a QA service(?).... If that's the case then they need to fire that service/company and do it internally...

Yeah I don’t get it. Yes there are some things that are annoying, yes it’s not as polished as I hoped it would be (especially a lot of the default aircraft), yes I want my PMDG/iFly planes, but despite all this, I sim in 2024 90% of my time. Better performance, graphics, flight dynamics…it’s a great base and will only get better. I need to go find that Simpsons comic book guy “worst episode ever” meme and make a few adjustments for 2024 conversations… Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

Going back to 2020 is a perfectly reasonable and viable option. Anyone who uninstalled 2020 before testing 2024 made a poor decision. They aren't wasting their money. The sim likely won't get a price cut until well into next year. Putting it on the shelf termporarily is not a big deal. For me it is grown up people needing to make grown up decisions. Complaining to fellow simmers instead of MS/Asobo accomplishes nothing. I frequently bring up the "preaching to the choir" cliche. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
