This is from their Facebook page, posted on 24th January: The update for the wheeled Kodiak is locked and will be sent to the vendors next week. We anticipate to release it on our shop Thursday and will try to have it on the Marketplace on the same day. The floats Kodiak is coming later, so they say. Not sure what the delay is - I think I read MSFS2024 water handling, or water effects. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

I updated via the Xbox app for pc. after the first update, like in your case the Xbox app tried to redownload the update again. I simply interrupted that 2nd attempt and MSFS 2024 beta still worked like a charm. January 25, 20251 yr I've just been watching an Obsidianant Youtube, and he says Asobo/MS stated that the SU1 Beta is only a small part of what's coming in the full update. Does anyone have further information, or a link to that statement ? Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

January 25, 20251 yr I tried it out. The G1000 white dot is still there instead of the silhouette of a plane. Looking around will still hang and then zip around making it hard to tackle things you may need to do quickly during landing, etc. Might just be a 'me' problem but annoying none the less.
January 25, 20251 yr Does anyone have the micro stutters in the cockpit when panning around and also when taxiing. When you take off, the stutters go away. I do not have that in FS2020. I have RTX4090 and I9 14900K. I basically put all my settings like i did in Fs 2020 + RTX is in the highest setting.

For me anyways. 4090, 64Gb 7950X etc etc

January 25, 20251 yr Very positive experience from the beta SU1. smooth (fps.locked at 30) and sharper scenery, significantly improved vs before the update. Simply awesome. EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12

I just tested the new MSFS 24 sim update beta, I was able to take off and land. I tried the same flight in XP12 and couldn't get off the ground without being ragged all over the place due to gusts. I don't think it was part of the question to compare to another sim. All good. Bye. TBH when I read his first two sentences, the same thought popped into my mind: well, is that accurate to IRL or not...? So I think I'm going to give him a pass on this one. IMHO this is an example of fair comparison rather than a sim war/troll comment: he's in a certain place that's affected by the storm and comparing experiences. Most importantly, he's doing it without judgement. What I'd be interested in (and may do myself in-sim) is try out the A2A Comanche & FSR500 to see how they handle it. Then I'll give the JF Arrow III with REP and maybe the AFL KA350 a go and see what happens. Comparisons of facts are good!
