February 6, 20251 yr Does anyone know if DLSSS 4 has fixed the ghosting issue when looking at the text/numbers on instrument panels in the cockpit yet? That's the only thing stopping me from using the DLSS framegen mod with my RTX 3090. I've been using TAA and the dynamic autofps app instead. I have taken a 6-8 month hiatus from MSFS and was hoping things have been improved when it comes to using DLSS with framegen on RTX 3000 series cards. Do you still use RTSS as in the TAA days? Thank you, D. Sorry yes shorthand for NVidia DLSS Super Resolution. Yes I still cap frames using RTSS Front Edge Sync. Being able to turn the lock off and with a key or button press is very useful and part of how I deal with some now very modest remaining graphic aberrations associated with frame generation. It's just fabulous now, often stunning since installing DLSS4, not Profile K either, just no intended profile and that becomes Profile C near as I can tell, that is when ProfileInspector is set to defaults when DLSS4 files are installed in the MSFS 2020 game folder. I feel like I'm in Holy Grail country as well especially since bailing on BATC's traffic. Fortunately BATC w/o its traffic works better than default ATC though it has no awareness of other traffic which sucks. But in trade for that I get good ATC guidance, far more AI traffic using FSLTL's injector instead of BATC's and bonus: AI traffic with this approach is as ultra smooth as is MSFS 2020, but BATC's traffic is often choppy as heck, sucks. A new update hopefully addressed this but I haven't tried it yet. Someone posted on their Discord that it didn't used to be choppy so sounds like something that could be fixed. Improved, but not nearly as good as TAA, at least that is my take. If the rate of climb/descent is modest I can easily make out the 10's column in PMDG tapes. This also is very much dependent on how far you are from the characters: the farther away, the worse it gets and the converse is true the closer you get it really goes away completely. TAA takes a serious toll on performance compared to DLSS4 + DLAA and image quality now is best ever for me but I use a bunch of sharpening algorithms on top of DLSS4. February 6, 20251 yr Hello to you I followed different installation principles for my RTX 4090 and MSFS2020 Thanks to the small modification of the register I can see that everything is well installed as it should be. However and unlike you I have problems tearing the screen I noticed on different images or video that in the information at the bottom left of the screen the resolution of the game for example is from 2K to 4k At home it's 4k to 4k what I don't actually understand. Can you explain? Thanks Frédéric Giraud
February 7, 20251 yr Hey quick question (maybe the answer is somewhere in the 27 page sorry ) Nvidia app dlss is Grey out for me in nvidia app. So instead i use dlss swapper to switch to the last one. But do i also need to do the steps in nvidia inspector ? Thanks

February 7, 20251 yr I've tried DLSS + DLAA and I do get better FPS but I noticed it's darker compared to TAA.

Yep, night lighting, especially, airport taxiway and runway lighting is brighter under TAA and much dimmer under DLSS. Another reason I stay with TAA. Eric
February 7, 20251 yr Commercial Member Well, I finally got a workaround implemented to selected the “latest” options in the Nvidia app. But boy, no idea what it is, but I’m still just seeing noticeable ghosting on EICAS and PFD tapes on the Fenix and PMDG. Is it better than before? Yes. But nowhere near “not noticeable.” Seems to be a performance bump, at least a very little on my system, but the ghosting on my instruments will still make this a no-go for me, sadly. Interesting, do you see the same ghosting in my videos I linked a few posts up as well? I find it greatly reduced with DLSS4 and LS combined... I'm hard pressed to really expect it to be much sharper but I'm also at that age I suddenly need glasses to read or I am blind LOL But those pics and videos are DLSS4 with Lossless doing the Frame Generation and 60FPSx2 so 120 rendered for pretty smooth flying as well. February 7, 20251 yr I am using a RTX 4070, no Nvidia App, and managed to install DLSS 310.1.0.0.0 via Dlss Swapper, is that enough and it means I am OK with DLSS4 and dont need any other setting ?
