Who else fully moved over to MSFS2024 this week?

Switched with SU3 and missed nothing except the PMDG 738. I re-installed the OS when I switched to clear out all the 2020 stuff and start fresh.

  • I'm reading posts from those who are staunch advocates of 2024 and continue to 'big up' the sim, saying what a great experience it is, then I continue to hear about all the issues guys are having whic

Hopefully we're getting Chaseplane from Parallel 42 today! 🤩For me this is the final piece of the puzzle to make the move to FS2024.

I started to get into 2024 around the time of the A340 release and somehow managed to accidentally uninstall 2020 not long after that. Didn’t bother to reinstall it since then and now I’m very happy with 2024, although I find the cloud pixelation a bit annoying.

Started using 2024 from around two weeks after release, and of course the first few days/months was mostly for fun and for GA and bush flying. Kept 2020 around for the serious/stable flying. After around SU2 found myself mostly using 2024, but still kept 2020 around. Then after SU3 fully switched over.

I will probably be moving across to MSFS 2024 this weekend (even though I am annoyed that it is STILL not on sale on Steam when MSFS 2020 is at another 60% discount). This will also mean that I am switching to the new PC, so keep checking my signature for updates

i just want to know what your going to do with that 980ti. i want to see a pic of it when its out of the case.  I bet its battered

It isn't going anywhere. Since this was the first PC that I ever built myself, it is being preserved in the museum (otherwise known as the corner of my bedroom) The GPU and CPU have both delivered Terminator style levels of relentless efficiency over the past six years, and I am proud of that. I must have done something right

I will take a picture of the inside of the case, to show you where all the magic happened

Respect.

It is sad that I have left behind a few planes that were built for the future but live in a world of the past. The Majestic Q400 is one but also the PMDG JS41, Aerosoft Cat, A2A B17, COTS B377 and Spitfire.

I moved fully like several months ago... but that's only cause I was beta testing for a few groups and needed 2020.  But really I was all in on day 2.  It's been a bit of a rollercoaster I'll admit HAHA!
