  2. Frooglesim was the best flightsim news creator ever on Youtube but unfortunately he quit a few years ago because of all the non stop clickbait content creators today brought by the hype of MSFS. These folks should go back and watch some his content and maybe learn how to post news on the internet properly. I only go to Youtube to watch the pros (Real world Pilots) videos if I actually wan't to learn something about aircraft and systems not the next hyperbole. Guys like V1, Blackbox711, Flightdeck2sim, 320 Sim Pilot etc. The rest is just rubbish jibberish fishing for likes.
  3. As Turpentine has mentioned, you can probably complete an entire flight without using your voice at all. There are options to select for your reply on the BeyondATC window, similar to when MSFS gives you multiple options to click on in the ATC window. Having said that, I have not tried an entire flight in BeykndATC just by clicking on the options. I only click on them when I am stuck and BeyondATC doesn't understand my voice instructions.
  4. Does any have any benefit? I hardly see any.....
  5. Just proves all the BATC saying that it’s impossible to get the proper Taxi data and blaming issues customers have been having with that on users is unfounded to say the least.
  6. Gauges open, no problem there, but when i click to refill oxygen or power on/off on gauge i have windows from fsuipc with info egg : unable with power OFF ! My battery is ON, so power is there but oxynator not see it. I use registered version FSUIPC and before v5.4 in v5.3 work great for months. I not changed nothing in fsuipc.ini etc, everything is per instruction... Kind regards
  7. If at first they don't succeed, well let's just say that nobody was surprised by this... https://www.foxnews.com/world/climate-activists-attack-case-holding-original-magna-carta-london
  8. Unfortunately there is no Simbrief profile for the Turbine Duke... Do you think the B200 King Air is close enough for creating a profile for the Turbine Duke?
  9. Thanks I wonder if the particular airport is 'different' from normal in MSFS. I will press on and give you time to look at it. BTW it is a scenic VFR flight covering Route 66 in USA from Albuquerque to Santa Monica which my late wife and I drove a few years back. I case it helps I started a new FP (empty) starting at the same departure airport and LNM 'draws' a light green/blue line around RWY 26 area (as it also does in my FP) even though I hadn't even set a departure point (so the 'map' should have nothing on it?). Not sure if that has something to do with it. It gets 'drawn' as 'legs' in MSFS. See image below with that light green/blue line arrowed by me with red arrow
  10. They're all off. Tested with the default 787 just now, same story. Had to get that initial tune done through the app, but I discovered it's not that it doesn't see the radio. I can pull up ATIS in the plane and I get BATC's ATIS. But when I then tune to clearance, there are no "what to say" options in that lower left window, so when I say anything, BATC doesn't recognize it. I have to tune clearance in the BATC window first, then I get the options and can talk to it.

  12. Yes it does... But then again they always had somewhat wonky flight dynamics, ran terrible and now maybe on life support ? They sure did look pretty though 😉 Cheers

    ORBX.

Actually I believe they are collecting info on how many P3D users have v6 via Central itself. I noticed whenever Central is run it performs a check for P3D v6 as the 2 x log snips show. [Simfinder] Coundn't find regval \SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v6 2024-05-10T22:28:41.384Z [INFO] [Central::AnalyticsService] - Sending installed product analytics. So Orbx won't be swayed on hearsay given they do collect actual installed data for any potential business case. In anycase Orbx are still rebuilding since MSFS's unexpected market entry hit that halted practical income for almost all ESP based sim addon producers. Here's a report. https://www.bomboragroup.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Bombora-Quarterly-Report-March-2023.pdf Cheers
  14. so I have two question: I cant get the autopilot to NAV a GPS course of the 530/430. I click NAV on the autopilot but it remains in HDG mode. I looked in the manual and there is a rather confusing paragraph about GPS courses and the no-GPS configuration. Anybody else notice very lazy pitch control following a LOC/GP? Seems like the autopilot can't command enough control surface deflection to achieve the desired slope.

  16. It does feel weird when you're not seeing a new Carenado release every 15 minutes
  17. I have it in P3D v4.5 where it was set to "Ready for Flight". I reset it to "Cold and Dark" and reloaded where it did not load as C&D. I then manually set up the aircraft to a cold and dark state, saved the senario and reloaded. It stayed in the C&D state then. Yeah so Sean must have missed something. I heard there was an update almost ready to be released prior to Sean's personal loss, maybe that would have included said fix ? Anyway it is what it is. Cheers
  18. You know, I never thought of that. I'm getting pretty smooth frames at 33fps in the sim, so probably don't really need vsync. I'll try it, though, and see if it improves things. Thanks! Dave
  19. To initiate an interaction (e.g. ask for IFR clearance), you can click on that request, and the pilot's computer voice will say it. You also have the option to let the software handle the replies/readbacks. So in short: you can decide to use voice recognition for initiating an interaction; handle responses; both; or none.
  20. Have you trialled the NVidia Control Panel 1/2 refresh rate vsync ? I found the option didn't work for p3D v4 but does work (and quite well at that) for P3D v5.3, so maybe it will work Ok for P3D v6 and you can enjoy the very smooth screen display vsync provides for. I don't have v6 so cannot trial it myself. Cheers
  21. Did it previously function in v5.4 ? When you say it doesn't work... Do you mean the gauge doesn't open at all ? Or it does open but doesn't fill the tank or actually provide oxygen ? Remember the gauge has a dependancy on a registered FSUIPC and a LUA script where I have the lua script set to auto run. There should be an oxynator.log in the folder where the lua script is located which will enable you to see what is happening. Cheers
  22. Hi, Thanks, and yes, I was using a 2nd assignment for down, but neither one was working, so figured I'd just send you one of them. And maybe a dumb question, but how do I add ", number" to the end of an LVar for a switch? for the axis I could input my own, but for a button that doesn't appear to be an option. Thanks! Kat
  23. I never made a judgement on the quality of the taxiway data in MSFS, we all know it's lacking. But, this is might be fixed with add-on airports, which are usually accurate to they day they came out, so the issue of those scenery being constantly updated might be relevant or not, depending on the airport: some airports haven't changed their taxiways in years, others change them very often so, whether the airport developer will keep up (assuming it's even needed) it's another matter but, it's clear that updating an airport is more complex than updating the Navdata. Fact users will see different data in the sim (because of different sceneries they have installed) compared to real world is not really a side issue. It's THE issue, the point I was trying to make was, do you rather have: - Accuracy to real world charts, but possibly confusing ATC directions because that taxiway is just not there in the scenery? - Internal coherence, so you'll get less realistic taxiway routings, but they will MATCH what you see in the sim, so you will get consistent (albeit not "real ) taxi routings ? My *personal* preference would be internal consistency, but that's just me, that's why it should be an option between Navdata API or external data.
  24. Sp I tried long haul in Turbine Duke and able only to squeeze ~800nm. I used FL280 and economy cruise as per tables: torque 740 (800 was recommended by fuel burn was much higher), 1800 rpm. Was getting t fuel flow 51 gph instead of 48 (but there could be ISA deviation)
  25. Lovely shot Todd! Haven't been to Italy much myself in the sim (apart from Venice). Can't remember when but there was a thing going on with the trees there back after one of the updates, that put me off the place for a bit and I just got out of the habit. Time to put it back on the list!
  26. If they are not encrypted ( no Marketplace, then ). The Navdata API solves that.
