  2. "Data subjects must be allowed to withdraw this consent at any time, and the process of doing so must not be harder than it was to opt in. (Article 7(3))" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Data_Protection_Regulation I agree with you. just as illegal as not disclosing any company address, tax number nor general manager name on their web site. say intentions for doing anonymous business. no thanks
  3. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=orbx+new+zealand+mesh+msfs https://forum.orbxdirect.com/topic/217215-information-regarding-nz-mesh-for-microsoft-flight-simulator/ https://www.flightsimulator.com/world-update-xii-new-zealand-now-available/ They could have mentioned the actual mesh resolution in the release notes. Been flying a lot in NZ lately and I don't think I've noticed any morphing (Orbx mesh not installed). Might have forgotten about it though, as my memory tends be be at the level of a goldfish* nowadays. *Might be worse than a goldfish actually: https://www.amnh.org/learn-teach/curriculum-collections/young-naturalist-awards/goldfish-as-a-model-for-understanding-learning-and-memory-more-complex-than-you-think#:~:text=However%2C my initial research showed, for at least one month.
  4. If i recall correctly, it was recommended by Asosbo to remove the Orbx mesh since the first NZ update
  5. so nice and artificially intelligent that they all work from some anoymous L.L.C showing no company address, nor a general manager/director on their web site. they don't adhere to GDPR? but they require your name and credit card info. no thanks.
  6. I owned 4. From 2006 to the last one in 2016. Each generation got worse! My first in early 2006 was awesome. Before Dell wrecked the brand!

  8. If some bright spark can figure out historical AI traffic, we’ll be apples (as I believe the Aussies say…?)
  9. If it was just a link I wouldn't bother to click on it. As it is I usually just skim through the screenies. Mmm, very nice. Next!
  10. Wow, been flying it in Southwest Germany all day for 3-4 hours. Normally I fly airliners and turboprops, but there's something about the low and slow, VFR scenic flying that I quite enjoy. Couple of issues that I encountered: sometime during the flight I stopped getting signals from VOR stations when using the "pseudo-autopilot", it adds max rudder, causing airspeed to decrease like in the 146, sometimes I have to click buttons 3 or 4 times before they respond The VOR and autopilot issues went away after starting a new flight. Took a while to get used to the SL30 – COM 1 / NAV 1 radio, but the operations manual is excellent. 82 pages! EDIT: It seems an update was released while I was flying. Not mentioned in this thread though. Are people using another thread to discuss the Tomahawk? *confused*

  12. Been flying with 8881 all day without any issues. Set both download and smoothing at default (30/50), seemed to work well. All settings are default actually as I uninstalled-reinstalled for 8881. Realism mode and preset mode. Been using historical weather a lot, works great! Very useful for flying in daylight with correct weather. I even figured how to use it with simbrief: https://forums.hifisimtech.com/threads/how-to-setup-simbrief-for-historical-weather.14883/#post-66780
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys, appreciated! And sorry that I didn’t structure the video a bit better. I’ve been planning to make such a video for a while, and yesterday was a perfect opportunity as I had to do a complete MSFS re-install. So I just went ahead and made the video without any planning. Despite the fact that it tends to be a bit rambling and incoherent, I hope it's useful 🙂 Interestingly, the views are about the same in the main forum as in the T&T subforum. I thought I'd post it here as well though, as it's not possible to comment in the T&T subforum.

  15. Also inibuilds is apparently a big team now. Those airbuses aren't the only aircraft they've made. The last few local/famous flyers for Asobo have also been inibuilds. Also ini isn't making the A220, they're just supporting the devs that are.
  16. Love your "can do" attitude, Andy. Several of these after-landing shots are humorous just by themselves. The absurdity of it all doesn't even require narration. 🙂
  17. Still tuning the shaders, looking to reduce the way overdone default haze and generally improving the lighting. Haze reduction results (default haze, Active Sky off), now clear skies are in fact pretty clear for viewing. Cockpit view with Activesky on, using uncharted2 tonemap, haze reduction, Alexandre's TrueSky clouds, modded DHC2 with RXP GTN 750 and Roland's WX radar in use. Just gotta correct one more thing relating to the horizon shading and I'll be happy with the modded v5.3 colouring schema. Cheers
  18. Bad memories from a time past. Money NOT well spent either. -B
  19. Yeah seems like an AI issue. Did a BGL report, and there were a LOT of issues. Including missing repaints and models for numerous BGL's. However when I use AIG OCI and click fix repaints or update models, it scans for a bit, then does nothing. So I'm not quite sure what's going on there or how I'm going to fix this. Jon.
  20. Sir, this is a Flight Simulator!!! You can't just barge in here having fun and showing off wonderfully irreverent flight skills!
  21. I thought some of you may find this interesting...
  22. All the under the hood hard work in getting the graphics under control is starting to pay off and can see the results based on whats to come. This is indeed great news.
  23. Hi I also noted some issues after the NZ WU so i stopped using Orbx NZ Mesh. To the best of my knowledge Orbx mesh has not been updated to make it compatible. Best wishes. Bob
  24. Why don’t you remove Orbx NZ Mesh for a few days and check it out for yourself? -B
