Studio drivers do not contain “bloat” not found in “game ready” drivers. They are exactly the same as “game ready” drivers. They fully support all existing games that were current at the time the studio driver was released. They (typically) are not updated to include support for the very latest games that might have released within the past few days or weeks - but in the specific case of MSFS, the DX12 fix is included in the new studio driver Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. September 21, 20223 yr Added new parameters to [FLIGHT_TUNING] section to control the static friction at high speeds and set how sticky the wheels should behave when rolling at higher speeds. These parameters are not used yet on any aircraft The beginnings of their planned improvements to ground handling/physics... hopefully we'll see these new parameters getting implemented on 3rd party aircrafts and freeware mods soon to see how exactly things get improved. I guess we can play around with default aircrafts' flight model config files ourselves to see 🙂 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
